City of Seguin - Coliseum — Attraction in Seguin

So disappointed in the fair this year and likely will never return. The ride attendant for the giant slide was unmistakably intoxicated!! There was broken glass inside the fun house, right where someone would reach out to grab (in an area where the floor shifts back and forth)!! Hordes of bees everywhere!! And less important but still bringing down the whole experience- rude people manning the concession stands. When I tried to order a lemonade, the woman manning the concession stand saw me, but I guess didn't want to end her conversation with her partner, so just kept talking and left me standing there in 100* heat and I had to walk away with nothing after waiting several minutes. This was probably for the best, since I looked on the Seguin FB page to see if anyone else had a bad experience there...people were actually complaining about tiny black bugs in the funnel cakes they bought!! All I can say is, come on, City Seguin officials! You can do better!! There has to be some city employee responsible for inspection. Broken glass inside a kid ride??? Bugs in the...

My in-laws just celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary here on March 14th, and everyone absolutely loved the venue! However, I must say that this day would have NEVER come together so smoothly without the help of a wonderful woman named Yolanda who works for the City of Seguin! From rearranging and breaking down tables, making phone calls to correct the digital sign (it read happy 5th anniversary instead of 50th.. she made sure it was corrected asap!) to setting up the projector for us (not her normal job).... getting ladders, moving objects, gathering balloons, ect. She was the ONLY employee there the entire time we were decorating that morning and you would have thought she was working with an army! I simply cannot thank her enough!!! So, here's to you Yolanda...thank you for helping us make our event at the coliseum go on...

Feedback on Recent Event at Seguin Coliseum

I recently hosted a traditional event at the Seguin Coliseum, and overall, everything was great and ran seamlessly. However, I wanted to address one aspect that was disappointing. I was not notified that the lights for the party event would be turned on one hour before the actual event was scheduled to end.

This unexpected timing was not appreciated, as it impacted the atmosphere we were trying to create. I believe better communication about this feature would enhance the experience for future events.
