Gave him my phone to fix cracked screen. The owner of the shop unlocked the phone (said I did not have any passcode or fingerprint scan enabled) and swapped out my finger print scanner / home button with one that did not work. There was no need to even touch the home button to replace cracked screen.
Guy also owns a used car lot in San Antonio, if that is any measurement of character?
After giving my a phone with working parts swapped out and god knows what other personal information accessed maybe even sold on to who knows who. After admitting to the police officer that he removed my home button unnecessarily he still would not refund my $120. I will have to take him to small claims court to replace my cell phone now.
H-E-B is a great grocery store. I wish they would do some ethical background checks regarding their in store vendors prior to subleasing space in the store.
The owner offered to have his friend “who is a better service tech than he is in San Antonio try and fix my phone for me”. That is if I let him have my phone for another 24 hours. But he still could not get my finger print scanner to work ever again due to losing that part...

Read moreI took several phones in to see if I could get my phone fixed. I said that they would fix it and that day and then they told me to come back the next day. tried to call, but they didn’t answer the phone then the next day I went back and they said that they couldn’t fix it. They had to wait for another screen to come in because it broke or something so I had to wait another day then I had to keep calling them because they didn’t call me and let me know what was going on, next day I went they was charging the phone I end up paying for it $81 for an S6 iPhone I got the phone tried to charge it it won’t charge the screen popped out at one end so basically $80 down the drain they fixed the screen, but the phone doesn’t work now here’s photos I told the guy before I left a lot. Let him look at it and he said it’s because of the scuffs on the phone that’s the reason why my phone won’t go back in. which I’m not stupid how can it be because of some scratches on the phone there’s no on the phone they don’t know how to work on phones so I recommend not to go there. They told me it would take one day and it took three days and still it...
Read moreThe only reason this place even gets 1 star from me is the Genius Technician J that sits behind the counter ready and fully able to help you with any and all technical needs. But the Greedy owner AMIR will happily take your moneyin exchange for a paper weight. I have randomly spoken with 2 other people that told me there experience was similar to mine. How they were sold a "new" phone based on all it's fancy functions, and lured into smart pay, then the phone starts to malfunction as soon as they got them home and they (like myself) tried to return it. Well the owner AMIR who likes to call himself Mike promised to replace the phone, but as soon as the cancellation period is up (the little bit of time we/they had to cancel the smart pay) he changed his tune with an excuse saying he couldn't get a replacement nor would he replace the phone without me/ them paying an upcharge... He does offer store credit, but this greedy character really deserves to be audited by the IRS.... Via form 3949 A individuals...
