Me and my husband were up here for our anniversary and decided to go antiquing for a couple of days. This place was huge and had so much stuff. We spent a couple of hours in there. Yes there were reproductions or things that weren’t antique, but it’s very easy to just skip right on by if that’s not your cup of tea. Also the bag policy, people steal and people break things with their big purses, I’ve knocked a few things over before so I just leave kit purse in my car and grab a wrist wallet, not hard and not a deal breaker at all. What my problem is and the reason I left a 4 star was because of the rudest vendor. When you walk in, turn left and go down like 2-3 booths on the left as well. I saw 2 quilt racks that I wanted and was simply trying to figure out the price of both, the guy asked the vendor since she happened to be in the store and she made the absolute rudest facial expression and wouldn’t even look at us and just shook her head, batted her eyes as slowly as possible and as wide as possible like she was flabbergasted anyone would have the audacity to ask if something was for sale at an antique mall that wasn’t marked “not for sale”, I don’t even know how to explain it but it rubbed me extremely wrong and if I ever go back I’ll make sure to stay far away from her booth. I’m so happy I got the one I got, it’s much more beautiful and it makes me happy I bought from the other lady who was much nicer and sweet. Everyone else was great and the store...
Read moreUsed to be one of my favorites to stop in and shop at but not anymore. Take a look at the other reviews that are consistent with mine: I walked in and there were 3 ladies at the counter that just stare at me, no hellos, just stares. I shopped around the front cabinets with them watching my every move. My husband and I walk down the main aisle and split up because there was a specific booth we were both looking to shop at. I get half way down the aisle to some rude young guy litteraly chasing me down telling me I didn't read the sign and my bag was to big and it needed locked up. If this a rule why didn't one of the 3 ladies stalking me at the counter tell me this instead of waiting til I'm half way through the store and embarrass me? And how come I passed 4 other "large" bags that weren't rudely told to lock up as I walked out? Customer service isnt their strong suit. There are tons of fun antique shops in the area, skip this one and shop and support the ones that actually...
Read moreWe just left and had to leave a review for this antique shop. We antique on all road trips and have been on the road quite a bit the last few months.
1- Give yourself time! This place is HUGE. We were in there for a little over and hour and we had to leave for an appointment so we kind of rushed through the end of our visit.
2- The upstairs is split in two. So you can go up on each end, but need to go back down to the main level to see the upstairs on the other side.
3- Pricing was fair to high depending on the booth and items. If you know what you’re looking for, you’ll know what the pricing should be.
4- The staff was friendly along with two of the vendors we chatted with while there.
Overall, we would absolutely go again without the time...
