On our trip to Sevierville, we stopped by My Little Italy to enjoy a late lunch / early dinner. We were in the mood for pasta, so we looked up the nearest Italian place, and My Little Italy was first on the list.
The space itself is small and cozy. We started off with the Fried Calamari and Greek Salad. The Calamari was delicious and that marinara sauce was DIVINE. Some of the best we’ve had in a long time. The Greek salad had a delicious vinaigrette on it which gave it the perfect amount of bite and tang.
For our entrees, I had the Chicken Parm which was absolutely fantastic. The chicken was delicious and the pasta was cooked perfectly. And again, that marinara sauce was HEAVELY. The rest of my party got the Veal Parm (which was just as good as the chicken parm), the Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken (which the person who ordered it said it was the best they’ve had in a while.) and the Linguine with Seafood which had a bountiful amount of perfectly cooked seafood.
The prices are EXCEPTIONAL for the amount of quality food you get. I mean, $16 for a HUGE chicken parm and a huge plate of linguine with a boatload of seafood?! You can’t beat that. The pricing was cheaper than those chain restaurants and the quality was astronomically better!
The food was exceptional, however, the highlight of the trip was our service. You can tell it’s a family owned business, because they’re all working. Our server, the owners daughter, told us a little about her parents story and how the restaurant came to be. At the time of our dine in, they had only been open for 5 months! The service was exceptional. Our server was quick, attentive, and so sweet. She offered us dessert and we declined (we were so stuffed!) and she brought us over some cannoli’s and said “You said no to dessert, but I think you should have some!”
Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We won’t stop at any of those chain restaurants whenever we’re in Sevierville. We will...
Read moreI never post reviews on any establishment honestly it’s not any of my business to even give an opinion on how restaurants operate but for some reason I felt compelled to write this review . Last night I saw on the Wate 6 news about this restaurants health score … I was shocked but you know what I wanted to see the place that got such a negative score. Upon walking in I saw their food report looks like they had gotten a different score recently . I ordered skeptically a chicken parm something simple. I couldn’t even describe how good this parm was . The Marinara literally made my mouth water with every bite and the chicken it was so tender . The garlic bread was good as well. But the best part of my experience was the staff such a loving and friendly staff. They are family owned, the whole family was working there . I spoke to the owners daughter and asked about what happened and really the sweetest young lady I’ve ever met. She spoke about her worries and how the family is truly apologetic that they “ strive to never let this happen again “. Honesty very disheartening to see that people are wishing this place ill will . They’ve only been open for 6 months. Please give this place a try you will not be disappointed. I gave this place a three in atmosphere because it seemed a little too cozy not a lot of space but nonetheless the food is...
Read moreI went there for lunch today and met a couple of friends there. The young man that was our server needs more training. We came in for the lunch specials that come with sweet tea or unsweetened tea. They had no sweet tea? Our salads were good. I had asked him about the shrimp that I could add to my dish and he told me that they were the small ones so I went with the chicken for my pesto dish. He came out with the salads and a few minutes later comes back to tell us that our food was ready and should he bring it out? Why would I want my food to sit under a heat lamp? We all told him to bring it out! He brings out our food and he had order the shrimp pesto for me. Told him I had ordered the chicken pesto. When I got my dish it was swimming in a cream pesto sauce! No where on the menu did it say this would be a creamy pesto sauce! The pasta was hard to chew and the chicken was tough! My friend that ordered the pasta with meat sauce said there was no flavor to it. My other friend liked her dish! Was so excited that they were opening a restaurant on this side of Sevierville since we have so few in this area! I might give it a try again but will wait a...
