I looked at the manufacturer label on the hoddie, made in Mexico. The bottom half was cut off, it was a perfect clean cut, except the person took part of the Spanish, they cut the care instructions so I did not put in dryer after washing, I let it hang dry. I wish I had noticed the tag prior to buying it. The tag was probably trimmed to remove the English "Made in Mexico" & the person was unaware it was in Espanol. When it was trimmed the washing instructions were as well. This is a basic tourist trap souvenir shop. Most items mass produced, I did not see a label that said locally handcrafted by Eastern Band of Cherokee. I look at the rings and I made sure they saw I already had 2 turquoise rings on. I have the diamond back ring and paid $47 for it but here they wanted $99, so double the price. I did like many of the items, I grew up on the Creek reservation in Oklahoma most of my life, but their prices were very high. I did see a pull over hoodie that I really liked the pattern to I paid the $32 for it, even though that was high. See the picture. My wife asked why I bought it, I told her they do have unique hard to find items so that justifies some of their prices. If your looking for Native Tribal items that are just commercial marketed, this is the place to go. And they do have some very hard to find unique items, making the stop worth it. And they will run right into you to help you, LOL :) šŸ˜ŠšŸƒā€āž”ļøšŸƒā€ā™€ļø The staff are very nice. I asked for a discount since Chief John Watts is my greatx4 granddad. She said no. Perhaps she did not believe me. But alas he is my grandfather.

Where to begin....as soon as we entered with our large group the staff immediately mumbled under their breath as to what I’m assuming as to the size of our large group with children....oh my god! We followed them around the entire time they are children there are cheap children’s toys I. Their at extremely inflated prices. It’s a souvenir type shop where I assumed children were welcome. We were followed around the entire time while the kids looked the ladies would fluff stuffed animals. About halfway through the store the OWNER didn’t approach us but behind the counter said this isn’t school. Not exactly sure what that meant but it wasn’t received well by 3 SETS of parents. We were asked to leave unknowingly why our kids were looking and touching but not disrespectful, curious and playful. We had every intention to o make a purchase we came out of our way to go to the store but after the treatment we wouldn’t spend a dollar at that place. The owner followed us out to our vehicle to take our license plate when in turn my husband backed up and gave it to her we seriously did nothing wrong. Maybe the owner and most of her staff are in the wrong business because clearly an overpriced souvenir shop that sells children’s items is NOT your fire’. Sincerely, Mama Bear

Horrible customer service and atmosphere. We stopped in with the intentions of purchasing several items. The name caught our eye as we have family members that are 50% or more Cherokee Indian. After this visit I am convinced that they have nothing to do with a Cherokee culture other than selling overpriced replicas in hopes of maintaining their hoity-toity life style. The lady alleging to be the owner got extremely upset just because I had a disagreement with her. I say alleging because at first she tried to say that she didn't want to get in trouble with the boss, but when I questioned her about her idiotic comment. She was magically the owner (LIAR) and turned in to a full blown "KAREN". We left not buying anything and will never go back nor would we recommend anyone else to. I also read other reviews that has been posted and so it seems the common denominator of being the problem is her. In my opinion she is very unprofessional, lacks compassion, common sense, and has democratic mentality.

Response to recent comment. I guess she had to call her friends and have them spread her lies. Typical Democrat mentality, they start a ruckus and then when they get their feelings hurt they try to control the narrative play victim and get their friends and political party to spread their lies. Another way to dismiss the comments defending her actions is the fact is that nobody was listening when the disagreement took place, All they saw was the end result. Also other families , groups and people over the last several years have posted similar reviews or bad experiences with what appears to be with...

Horrible experience stay clear of this place they do not have good customer service and if you have a problem they will not take care of it we have purchased a lot of very expensive product from them and over the years they have been very rude stay clear …they would not take care of a defective stone out of a ring stay clear There are too many good places there in Gatlinburg that are incredibly honest and give good prices without the hassles… I received a response from this email claiming that it was not from them which is out right lie this company has very low character and I would never recommend anybody getting caught in the trap if you review their writings there is a tremendous amount of reviews claiming that they are rude and I’m going say it again bad company bad people stay clear …. Bad people.. it absolutely was their ring and they knew it because I called prior to sending it to them with the engraving on the inside from the artist, this is their excuse to not take care of the problem anyone dealing with a company like this should stay clear.. good try Cherokee trade post… but it doesn’t fly in my book and I hope people will see your true character… and you were never threatened they have no proof of any of this .. this is another tactic to try to make the public believe that they are good people I’ll say it again horrible bad people this karma is going to come back to them for treating good loyal money paying clients in this manner …. Just read the reviews...
