I am a Priceline Platinum member, work for the city Sevierville center, I'm with my fiance stayed a few nights was pretty good, her house burned down then our car broke down Halloween night had to walk quite a ways to get back after that everything seemed to change with the staff , we had checked out and they was gracious enough to let us store a couple boxes on the third floor, the second night with our stuff there we went back and was waiting on a ride, it was cold and raining the second shift worker said we could go u and wait on our ride that was in Knoxville we sat on the floor and quiet , our ride was late I had fallen asleep but my fiance was. Awake when this third shift worker came in yelling that if we didn't get a room or leave with our stuff he was calling the police, so we left and waited in the rain across the street, my fiance is a 68 year old woman with health problems, nothing was ever said about not being able to stay , I went tonight and booked a room through Priceline only to be turned away stating that the employee said we couldn't stay anymore which was a total lie , we have friends helping but we like to be alone so here we sit with our car still not repaired waiting in the cold for a ride, I personally worked all day and was looking forward to a hot shower and quality time. We did not start any type of trouble but was treated like an animal if that employee had enough guts to tell us instead of lying I would have not booked the room, and because we wait for insurance broke , what ever happened to compassion for each other instead of money, lies and deceitful ways, I am a army vet employed , she is retired getting social security, thank you to anyone that's taking their time to read this , thank you Priceline acting so quick to retrieve my money before it was paid to them , unfortunately I have to wait 3 business days for it, make no mistake, my opinion they would have kept it , I would like to know ho many of them including the owner how much time did you give to our country for our freedom, I know my whole family on both sides served their country. God Bless America and thank you wanted to give a follow up on this evening, 1120 pm have to work in the morning, very cold still can't reach our ride, fiance crying her nose so cold dripping thank God for Exxon across the street allowing to go in and out , we brought no warm clothes just a couple sweaters you would think being a repeat customer they could have at least had enough descentcy to email me something telling me I wasn't allowed back , for no real reason other than a straight up lie , knowing our transportation situation now we are truly stuck . Thank you super...

As you can see this WAS my favorite place but due to ONE Very Rude Desk clerk I will never go back.... My husband had just got diagnosed with cancer and spent a week in the hospital and was due to start chemo immediately, so the very day he got out I thought it would be great to go to our little "home away from home" before the race to save his life started. I booked my room on line and pay when I get there just like I have done 15 other times over the summer. When I get there I was told there is no reservation and I would have to wait,I told her I had my confirmation number and she said won't do me any good! So I sat down to wait keep in mind my husband is in the car! Finally she said oh here it is. I handed her my card and she " we don't take that card , I told her this is the card I always use she said well the machine must have messed up(all 15 times?) because we don't take that! So I paid in cash then she said well I need another 100$ for a deposit! what??? Ok fine I gave her that then she tells me you have to be in here early if you want the deposit back I said isn't check out still 11? So skip to the next morning I had been on phone all morning with doctor's etc. I get an Email from the motel that said if you want a late check out no problem 30$ stay until one 50$ stay all day. So I call down to front desk and tell them I would like to do the 30$ late check out and was told No I can't stay and if I want my deposit I need to be out on time!!!! (Yes it was the same desk clerk as the night before) Who treats guest like this??? So STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL if YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR STAY!!!
BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This is my home away from home. I love the way the rooms are set up it's almost like having two rooms, each queen bed has its own bedroom with the bathroom in between! The front desk has always been very polite and efficient. What I really really love about this motel is the little critters out back!! Stand on your balcony and watch (feed) the little raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels, my granddaughter loves doing this!! But please please keep in mind these little critters may be adorable they are WILD so do NOT try to pet them or pick them up to take pictures with them THEY WILL BITE! That being said..... don't forget...
Read moreUpdate: we stayed here one night on our Dollywood trip recently. We were so disappointed. We specifically came back to this hotel Because the mattresses were so very comfortable last time. Well this time they were hard as a rock. I mean some of the hardest mattresses I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. I don’t know if they just had all their mattresses replaced or what, but the mattresses in the room were so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. It made it really hard to sleep. I was awake every half hour because I couldn’t sleep and the extremely firm mattresses made my back hurt very bad. One reason we usually stay at Wyndham hotels is because they usually have much softer mattresses than other chains, but these were some of the hardest we ever slept on. Also, another thing that kept us up was the heaters didn’t wanna work. I am not exaggerating when I say that I was up at least fifteen times during the night because we would have to press buttons and try and try to get the heaters to come on and it was very cold. We were so excited to come back here but we were so disappointed. I used all my rewards points to stay here and I wish I hadn’t. There is nothing more disappointing about a hotel than uncomfortable mattresses and a terrible nights sleep.
I booked this hotel on a whim after another hotel I had booked for our big Dollywood trip was so awful that we had to leave. This hotel was such a pleasant surprise!! We got the two queen room with a jetted tub. Each bed is in its own bedroom within the hotel room. My daughter loved having her own room and tv. There is a balcony where you can look out onto the trees and raccoons. The best part of the stay for me was the beds. This hotels beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on! Another plus about this hotel is the price point. Also, the hotel is near the interstate where you get off to go to Dollywood so your right by the route when you arrive and when you leave the area. The single only qualm I can think of was that when I turned on the tub jets, there was some wet paper in the water as if perhaps a naughty child had shoved toilet paper into the tub jets that came out when I turned it on. Anyway, We liked this hotel so much we booked it for our upcoming Dollywood...
