In July my wife ordered take-out from the Sevierville Taco Bell on Rte 66. The order came to $40 some odd dollars. Having recently broken my leg and wrist in a motor vehicle accident and being couped up, I was anxious to sit with my family and enjoy the food. When my wife arrived home with the food, she set it all up and as usual...we began with the nachos. Something was off with them. But I didn't want to be the first to complain...so we are a little more. There was something rancid, I thought to myself. And with that...my wife had to spit hers out onto the garbage. I couldn't eat another bite as well. As matter of fact...I had to excuse myself when I felt nauseous. My wife called and spoke to manager Tiffany. It was as if she was expecting the call or was fielding numerous calls. Tiffany explained that the fry oil was never changed. She apologized and asked if we had the receipt, as she would refund the entire order. Unfortunately, the employee at the window did not add the receipt to the order...so Tiffany explained she would remake the order anytime, which was:
1 Quesarito 2 Crunch Wrap Supremes 2 Nacho Party Boxes A 3-Soft Taco Supreme Combo 1 Beef Burrito Supreme
Since we were all feeling sick from the food cooked in the rancid oil, we discarded the entire order.
Today...we went back. The General Manager, Dillon, was at the window. He seemed skeptical that we were on the level, and had my wife all flustered. I leaned over to the window to speak to him through the speaker. He said he could only remake the nachos. Then...when I explained what Tiffany told us...he said he had to check with her. He returned a few minutes later and told us that Tiffany said she only agreed to remake the nachos. That was a lie...since she was willing to refund the entire order.
We left the Taco Bell without any food today...and I was so upset at the management there for serving rancid food, refusing to remake the order...and then lying to...
Read moreWhat can you say? Fast food right. Thing is when a manager gets rude and yells across the restaurant and at staff and customers that to me is unexceptionable. Pull your employees a side out of public view. My friend went and asked for Taco's; Hard shell no tomatoes. Got Taco's 3 of them. Now they serve them with meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomato; so the request was no tomatoes. Instead he got all tacos with meat and cheese no lettuce or tomatoes. I told him to go back up, and request a little lettuce, (you know maybe a handful) enough to put on his self as we didn't want them to waste and throw them in the trash and make more. Instead what we got was a Manager who screamed at the top of her lungs to the staff " Lettuce costs money". Now I get that, however you can get an entire head of lettuce for about $1 or so, you are taco bell, a little lettuce to put on Taco's you messed up on to start with I did not think was a big deal. Needless to say I called the store regarding how rude this was when 4 other groups of people in the dining room and the line at the register where all looking; we were sitting all the way in the corner in the back furthest from the door, like everyone else, I heard it clear as a bell. Taco Bells regional manager never returned my call. Called corporate they took a message and someone would get back to me 3 weeks ago. WOW. If anyone wonders Why customer service is lacking in just about every establishment, one reason would be that management is teaching the employees to be hateful and disrespectful to customers. This particular taco bell obviously does not care about customer satisfaction since they do not look at reviews or return calls or address the issues. There are plenty of Taco Bells around I suggest you find a different one if you have any hope of receiving good customer service. Perhaps, if enough complaints come in on this one we can get a Churches Chicken in this area, maybe they have good good...
Read moreNormally, I don’t find myself at Taco Bell. However, on that particular day, I stepped inside and was instantly captivated by a striking man, who could easily pass for a professional MMA fighter. His physique was impressive, exuding strength and confidence that turned heads. As I walked in, the sunlight streamed through the windows, illuminating his gorgeous green eyes, making them sparkle like emeralds.
I approached him, my heart racing, but when I tried to speak, I suddenly found myself at a loss for words. It felt as if time had stopped; I was truly starstruck, caught in a moment that felt both surreal and exhilarating. His elegant voice broke the silence, cutting through my daze. “What would you like to eat?” he asked, and in that instant, reality came rushing back.
Gathering my thoughts, I regained my composure and ordered a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, my go-to choice. I took my seat as close as possible to him, savoring every bite of my burrito while stealing glances at his chiselled features. There was an unmistakable charm to him that drew me in; I couldn't help but feel a giddy excitement bubbling inside.
Once I finished my meal, I mustered the courage to walk over to him. With a slightly shaky voice, I asked for his name. “My name is David,” he replied with that same elegant tone, leaving me entranced. That moment, filled with an unexpected connection, would linger in my mind for years to come.
As I left the restaurant, in a whimsical burst of spontaneity, I meowed at him—an odd gesture, perhaps, but in that lively atmosphere, it felt just right. By the way, I’m an 87-year-old man, navigating the world with a little bit of senility and a...
