Even though we've been here 2 times already and swore we would never stay there again, our 12 year old son wanted to go here and since we were bringing his friend, we decided to bite the bullet and stay here again for the convenience of the water park being "down the hallway" (forgetting it's not worth the 1+ mile walk either) for the boys, as opposed to something we would need to drive them to. Unfortunately, we were immediately reminded of why we swore we would never book another stay. My biggest complaint is that EVERYTHING here is EXTREMELY overpriced. They are banking on the "convenience" and taking it straight to the bank! With that being said, it is 100000000% worth staying elsewhere and get a day pass (if coming here at all). The rooms are DIRTY! Our sheets were clearly not changed as they had loose dirt IN them on top of brown and red smears. Good luck getting the towels, shampoo, soaps and other amenities you will need. Check in does not start until 4pm (unless you pay extra of course) and checkout is at 11am (unless you pay extra of course).The staff (Jeremiah in the arcade entrance near the water park in particular) was EXTREMELY RUDE, with only a couple of staff being an exception. Lifeguards were unhelpful kids with whistles and no words. NOBODY WAS ON STAFF AT THE FIRST AID STATION, RESULTING IN MULTIPLE PEOPLE ON RADIOS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO ASSIST A COUPLE OF PARENTS WITH KIDS NEEDING ASSISTANCE. Even a bartender was involved as they were frantically trying to find someone. We literally saw 3 different people throw up in the middle of the park and after standing there for 10 minutes telling people to watch out for the massive piles of vomit on the ground, someone finally showed up in no hurry to "clean" it. But the way they "cleaned" it was disgustingly NOT sanitary at all and without regard to everyone unknowingly walking through it while working to "clean" (push it with a broom until dissolved) it. Furthermore, it was FREEZING inside the water park, despite it being indoors, making enjoying the water nearly impossible. You are asked how much you want to tip for nearly every transaction on top of the ridiculous charges with random 15% "convenience charges" on top of everything. If you stay here, do NOT link your payment method to the wrist bands. They do not work anywhere INCLUDING THE LOCKERS. DO NOT PURCHASE THE NIGHT OWL PACKAGE, AS ONLY 3 slides are left open. EVERYTHING ELSE is shut down including the smaller slides, wave pool, etc., but they of course do not tell you that! The arcade games and rides are insanely overpriced with some play cards starting at $99!!! Do not, I repeat DO NOT purchase this card. Your kids will only want to do the "rides/events" once, as they are each disappointingly uneventful so do not waste your money on the "unlimited" cards. Kids prices end at 11 years old. I am shocked to not have heard any disasters on the news already about this place. Then again, we live out of the area, so it may be worth investigating.
