I had a great time. I did this stop on the Nebraska Passport program and I learned a lot about the history of Nebraska and the history of the Nebraska National Guard.
We started with a video that explained how the National Guard came into being in Nebraska. Then after the film, we walked the museum and traced the ops of the National Guard in the world wars to the present.
They have a ton of artifacts and historical uniforms and weapons that are well worth the time to check out. It was a very good time and is an excellent stop to be included in the passport program.

Read moreAs a member of both the first of the 2nd of the 134th infantry and the first of the 134th infantry in the '90s, the history here is incredible, Mr Myers knows his stuff and the amount of effort he has put forth to make this place into something amazing should be appreciated more by people from Nebraska and the rest of the United States. A lot of credit is given to the airborne corps for some of the things that the 35th infantry did in world war II to break the western front away from the Germans.
