Horrible experience!! My friend had booked me and another friend of mine for a hot stone massage which she reconfirmed with the receptionist while I was standing next to her. It was my first time getting a hot stone so I had no idea what the protocol for that massage is, Brittany was my massage therapist and she did a fabulous massage but it was not a hot stone it was just a regular massage. I kept thinking while I was getting my massage done that the hot stones will happen after the whole body massage but that was not the case. After Brittany asked me to get dressed, I went outside to the reception desk and asked Megan the receptionist why I didn't get a hot stone and her answer was that you weren't scheduled for one. I sat at the reception for the other friends to come out because their massage was about 20 min longer than mine. We were all shocked that this happened and the friend that had booked the appointments was taken aback with them trying to say that she had asked for only two hot stone and one regular massage, so they tried to put their mess up on my friends shoulder ( NOT ACCEPTABLE). I left my number for the owner to call back and she calls me the following day repeating the same story that Magen had already narrated to us which was that my friend messed up booking the service not realizing my friend and I were together at the reception desk paying for our services when my friend had repeated three hot stone massages. This owner was rude, kept arguing and did not apologize one single time instead kept putting the blame on my friend. Read moreI brought my mom here about a week ago for her birthday. I treated us both to a manicure and pedicure as well as she received a hot stone massage and I received a maternity massage. All of the employees we encountered were very friendly and we were satisfied. However due to time restraints they scheduled our manicure and pedicure first which at the time I didn't see a problem with. Once we were done with our massage I realized my thumb nail paint had chipped and both thumb nails of my moms were completely rubbed off. However the employee fixed it and we were happy. Once we left I took my mom out to lunch then we got home about 3 hours later. Well my mom had bumped her hand on a cabinet at home and it chipped the polish off of all of her nails. I was very upset considering the amount of money I had paid. So I called back and got a Carrie (I believe) who was non apologetic and rude telling me we had to come back within 5 days. I understand the policy but it had only been 3 hours!!! Absolutely no reason her nails should have already been ruined. My mom called back left a message for a manager and scheduled to go get her nails fixed. The manager did call back and apologize and my mom got her nails fixed. However my nails all started peeling off this past Saturday(a week after my manicure) I'm just very disappointed for the money spent how short of a time my manicure lasted, that my moms was ruined in a day, and the lack of professionalism from Carrie. Read moreThis would have been a 5 star experience if I had written this review yesterday when I got home. I was buffed, massaged, relaxed, my fingers and toes looked great. The service was friendly and quick while I was there and I was there for well over 5 hours as I was doing a full spa day (mani,pedi,scrub/wrap,massage, and facial.) Not cheap to say the least. So imagine my displeasure while driving to work this morning and I noticed almost every one of my nails the polish had chipped or come almost completely off. My manicure looks like it's 2-3 weeks old and it was less than 24 hours!! The most strenuous thing I had done was wash my hair so needless to say they should not have looked like that already. I called the spa when they opened and was told that they really can't do anything about it if they can't see the nails. I live over an hour away and I work 8-5 monday through friday so even if I wanted to drive allllll the way back to show them how bad my nails looked I couldn't do it for another 5 days. The woman on the phone said she would give my name and number to the owner who would call me and sort things out. I never received a call from the owner, the same woman called me back and told me there was nothing they could do but credit me $20 on my account since it's just regular nail polish and there's no guarantee at how long it will last.
