Daisye Musgrave Hulan Park — Attraction in Shelbyville

This is a public park set up for softball tournaments in the city of Shelbyville in Bedford County, TN. This park invites many competitive softball teams from around the entire state and from multiplesurrounding states to participate in weekend tournaments. These tournaments are a money making enterprise, and the city is making huge revenue off of the participating teams, and the guests that these teams bring with them. The facility is in such bad shape. The lack of appropriate parking is just the beginning. The actual grounds are mud laden, not even paved for entering into and traversing to the fields. The snack bar/bathroom facility is disgusting, siding is Draping off of the soffits, it is overflowing with garbage and waste. This is a County PUBLIC PARK. HOSTING COMPETITIVE HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL TEAMS FROM SURROUNDING COUNTIES!!!! IT IS IN A STATE OF DISGRACE AND DISREPAIR. THE CITY OF SHELBYVILLE SHOULD BE TOTALLY EMBARRASED BY WHAT THEY PRESENT TO THE TAXPAYERS...

Our family has been to ball parks all over Tennessee and 6 other states…. This takes the cake and wins worlds worst, nastiest, and most neglected field and park by far.

Nasty, neglected excuse for restrooms, no doors for privacy in stalls. The fields are abandoned and forgotten hole ridden ankle breaking hazards. The dirt is so fine and grainy it simply blows away in the wind.

Whoever owns/runs this should be extremely ashamed of themselves! The softball girls deserve better! Unacceptable...

Our softball team plays here and the park is not well maintained. The restrooms are decrepit with toilets that don't flush half the time. Usually no soap for washing hands. Hand dryer works sporadically. Concessions apparently recently got a slight upgrade, but after eating there recently, we have started packing snacks or leaving during longer breaks to get...
