Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Shelbyville

I wanted to give no stars because they need to relearn their menu, but couldn't give no stars. I went tonight to get something quick because it's been a stressful week, it started at the speaker when ordering my food. I simply asked for a #1 bacon two cheese double burger combo large and I think it was like number 7 for the triple cheese combo only ketchup and light mayo. The girl simple tries to tell me what is on the burger when I already know what is on, because it is something I get every time I go, and she wants to proceed with saying that it doesn't come with mayo, I simply say that yes I know but I only want ketchup and light mayo and she tries to say it again I said yes I know and then had to 'dumb it down' and say only ketchup add light mayo. Get to the window another girl who didn't take my order goes to repeat it because I asked her to. She starts to repeat it and says that it's a #5 so so etc, I stop her then and say it's supposed to be a number #1 so so etc, she then tries to proceed by saying yes it is and then whatever number that is for a triple cheese combo. I tell her no it's supposed to be a #1 bacon two cheese double large combo, she tries saying the same thing she had just said, I repeat what I said she then gets the girl who took the order to look over it again. I tell her what I've told the girl working the window, says that yes it is a double bacon cheese so so etc. I'm okay sure I pay and then I checked he food before pulling off because they were about to close and I know how they like to be sneaky and not fix sh*t when they should. So I check it and it's not correct, I let them know. They're already frustrated at this point so the get the manager Terry and I simple told what I had originally ordered, she gets it fixed for me. Well I check it again, while still in line because again I know how they are, the one girl wants to say with the window close that it's 'the right one', like I didn't hear you 🤣, and it's wrong cheeses' on the burger. I simple say it's wrong and that there is supposed to be two DIFFERENT cheeses on it, and she wants to act like I'm stupid, she says she can fix it and ask me to pull up. I sat there and she wanna say it again, like I know y'all like to play in the food business especially right before closing, she said I can fix or give you a return. I just give it here and left because I'm already holding back from what I can really say. So according to the manager Terry ' the white cheese on the #1 is white american and regular American', when in fact it's not and there is a difference. As a manager you should know a simple cheese such as white cheddar, oh and your burgers shouldn't taste like they've been sitting out for a couple hours. That's all I gotta...

I have been getting banana shakes, from Dairy Queen. For over 50 years. Never have I ever ordered nor drank a vanilla shake. On my last visit to Dairy Queen In Shelbyville, TN, the young girls working there were offering horrible service. I ordered a banana shake and was given a vanilla shake with the consistency of a glass of milk. I left without trying it . On my way home, which is just a little over 1 mile away, I tasted it and was very dissatisfied that first it was vanilla and not banana, and second that it was so thin or melted. I called to let them know that I was returning to get the shake I ordered. The young lady rudely told me that the order was for a vanilla shake and that she had made it herself and that she made it thick. I nicely told her that I wanted the banana shake that I ordered. She rudely stated that she would make a banana shake and she didn’t know how it had gotten so liquidy. All three you ladies began to laugh as she picked up the blackest banana she had and made my shake. Of course the shake was in a clear cup and you could see all the thick black pieces of the banana in the cup, which made it lumpy and almost inedible. I don’t believe anyone has ever taught these girls about customer service. They should not be working with people. It was a minus 5...

Went in for Ice Cream and a Milk Shake at about 5:10pm. No one at the counter but me. 5 maybe 6 people passed me and saw me standing at the counter. No one took my order or even said I will be will you in just a minute. Finally the lady with the red hair behind the counter packing orders for drive thru heard me sigh and she told the guy that was standing beside her to go take my order and he shook his head NO and went back to what he was doing. About 2 minutes later he lets some guy in the back door that came straight up front from outside and took my order. He didn't wash his hand or any thing. I find out later that the guy that refuse to take my order his name was Gatlin. There should always be a manger of some sort on site don't get me wrong I understand that everyone has to work now days but the customer service that is give my young people...
