LOVE LOVE LOVE This new theater near me. I love that they have a bar with a sitting area, you and friends can hang out before a movie and relax. It's very open when you walk in, very inviting. Seats are comfortable, the cheeseburger sliders are my favorite. I've gone like 5 times already, as I am a movie buff. One thing I would work on, is the training of the, what I call the "First responders team", the people standing in the front who scan your phone or app. Most times, they are very good at approaching you with a smile offering to scan, however, the last two times, they were girls, and we stood in front of them with our phones out and they kept talking to each other, we gave an impatient look and one of the girls asked if we had tickets already. Really! Uhm, that's why we're standing here in front of you with our phones out. I do understand that young people are sometimes separated or amiss from/ with customer service standards, so it's important when hiring, to recognize certain personality traits and assign them accordingly. As a customer, that's the first impression of the theater and it makes me smile when they approach and welcome you and offer to scan phone. It's something other theaters don't do, so you should capitalize on that and make it your signature approach. Anyway, I'm sure to be back this week, as new movies will be released and this is my...
Read moreThe service was horrible. We had a party of 3 & we all ordered the pot roast small portion with the mashed potatoes & green beans. 1 hour later, we finally had to flag down the waiter because he never came back to the table to find out why the delay. He said that he couldn't tell us how long the delay would be because the computer had not shown our order yet & they were filling take out orders faster than the customers inside the restaurant. He left for a moment & returned to let us know they were out of mashed potatoes & just stood there. I asked if we could have double green beans & he said yes & then I asked for 2 salads for the other 2 plates. He left & came back with the salads & told us they were having to prepare more green beans. He brings back 3 huge plates with the small portions of pot roast missing everything else. The green beans never arrived. We made sure we were not charged for the salads because those would have been extra. Waiter never tried to compensate for the trouble. We tried to complain to the cashier, nothing. All the while after we were told no mashed potatoes, a waitress yells out to the cooks at least 15 times that she needed mashed potatoes. Never again will we go to...
Read moreThe restaurant has a small "diner" atmosphere. It's very open and well lit . The menu is pretty extensive, and they serve breakfast all day. There's a jukebox there ( part of their history of Jukebox Mondays), but I don't know if anyone played it. Fairly good size portions ( plenty filling for this diner). The 2 of us ordered the combo of ribs and shrimp. Also, an extra side of onion rings with ranch/ bacon dressing. Our server, Meagan, was very courteous and friendly. The ribs ( St. Louis style) were very tender. However, they seemed to have been steamed, rather than grilled. I prefer grilled baby backs. The 3 fried shrimp were good, but there was too much crispy coating. I enjoyed the green beans, which had bacon and onions cooked with it, and the red-skin mashed potatoes were good. My friend and I plan on returning for a...
