My wife and I moved from Prescott and joined the Gym 6 years ago. It was small at that time but had enough equipment to keep us satisfied. For the most part, people were just doing their thing to stay in shape without vocally being annoying. Unfortunately, over the last 2 years we noticed a lot more people grunting and slamming of plates from the cable pulleys that have a high pitched clang which is obnoxiously loud, just to draw attention to themselves. We would choose slow times to avoid this macho atmosphere. About two months ago on a slow Sunday afternoon we arrived just after 4pm with only 8 people in the gym. My wife and I started working out on 2 adjacent machines. I started to warm up with no weights and stood up next to my wife and had a slight conversation. Then! Coming from behind me was this macho person with sweat rolling from his body wanting to use this ONE particular machine that I was starting to use. The whole gym was full of idle equipment, but he asked if he could share it, āThere was no way I saidā. There was an exchange of words and he said Fāk blah blah in front of my wife. As he started to walk away he was so angry he kicked my water bottle in outright anger. The next day my wife talked to the manager for a refund and he said they would review the video firstly. 1 full week goes by but no refund because the owner wanted to hear my side; well this is my side of the story. 2 weeks later, my wife finally receives a refund and I was on the Silver Sneakers Medicare program, so it was free to me. We have moved on to brand new gym that is a fraction of the cost and everyone wipes down there equipment upon completion of...

During peak periods I see space becoming an issue. Full rack of dumbs, one dedicated squat rack, couple angled and flat benches, standard cable and isolation machines, and plenty of free weights. They have punching bags which is pretty uncommon. The bathrooms are fair. Adequate but not somewhere you'll wanna hang out. Dimly lit with a row of lockers and two sinks in the men's. It may be best to do most of your business at home. Bring your own lock if you need to store anything since the lockers are out of view from the gym floor. One shower. One toilet. Facilities seem in working order. The building is old and it shows, but there is a water fountain at the back of the gym and a huge mural of white-Jesus on the wall so.. priorities? Gym staff seems friendly and helpful but I go to work out - not to talk. They have a 10 dollar daily and 30 dollar weekly package. Visit the website for further information. At the time of this review Dec 2 they don't observe any kinds of responsible sanitation measures and no face masks are worn by staff members or...

If youāre not drinking the Kool aide; you have an āattitudeā. Worst gym etiquette of any gym Iāve experienced in 30 years of going to gyms across the world. People will literally bump into you mid set. Slam plates onto the machine youāre using mid set and act like youāre in the way, or as an act of frustration bc they want the machine. In the summer, itās worse. Iāve literally seen one of the trainerās husbands claim a bench to set his gym bag on and be aggressive when someone asked to use it. Apparently thatās ok, but you have an attitude. Cult mentality. Apparently if you donāt waste your valuable time, bsing w the locals, and actually treat a gym like a training facility, you have an āattitudeā. Good equipment but not worth dealing...
