As a regular customer who spends a couple hundred dollars here weekly, I’m disappointed that the overall experience continues to fall short — especially for a store that holds a monopoly in the area. One of the most frustrating issues is the constant reluctance to provide shopping bags. Every time I ask, I’m met with attitude, as if it’s unreasonable to expect a basic convenience. Am I supposed to carry each individual item out by hand?
This isn’t a minor complaint. It’s a matter of respect for the customer. We’re spending money — a lot of it — and being made to feel like an inconvenience for requesting a bag is unacceptable.
The store often has multiple staff members standing around appearing to supervise or watch for shoplifters, yet only two registers are open. The checkout lines are always long, and the wait time is unnecessary. Consider hiring more cashiers or at least managing customer flow better.
Adding some background music or your own store announcements with promotions would also make a huge difference. The complete silence inside the store is awkward and uninviting.
Product selection is generally good, albeit a bit overpriced — but I understand there’s little local competition. Still, the lack of customer service is disappointing. No one greets you, no one thanks you, and the whole experience feels transactional and cold.
I’m leaving this review not out of anger, but in hopes the ownership sees this and considers making meaningful improvements. Customers deserve better — and a shopping bag shouldn’t be...
Read moreI ordered a whole chicken yesterday and after receiving the bad I just looked into it and I was able to see a HUMAN HAIR particle in it the chicken bag. So I tried to talk to that meat cutter and he was so ruthless and I even requested him to give me another one but he refused and says I just cut in in front of you. So what? even if they cut in front of me HAIR is a HAIR. I said I'm not going to take this chicken and left it right there. I straight away went to talk to the manager on duty. He's like where is the hair? whose hair is that? In my mind I was like idiot, why do I keep that bag with me, and replied I gave him back the bag. He went inside and brought the bag out and requested me to show him the HAIR. so I took out my phone right away and showed him the picture I took as soon as I saw that HAIR in the bag. He tried to convince me like it's chicken's HAIR. But, in the picture it was very clear that it belongs to a HUMAN. So, he took the bag inside and then he cleaned that chicken with water and kept for reselling. I was watching him doing all the stuff, and his employees were looking very rude at me for complaining. I'm like you are not giving me the chicken for free. I'm freaking paying for it right. NO apologies were given. How disgusting is the management as well. highly dissatisfied with the shopping experience in INDIA...
Read moreI always was proud that an Indian grocery of such magnitude exists in my neighborhood. But i have come to see that the management only wants to get a share of the business but don't want to work for it. The quality is disappointing, and the reception cold. They are but a dud, don't let the size deceive you. The worst is the meat. Unless you are buying a whole shoulder or leg, the meat that they sell precut at$8.99 a lb is nothing but unwanted pieces that you could not get even a morsel of meat out of. You are at the mercy of the guy behind the counter and you mostly get bones that even your dog would get bored off after the first bite. What he gives you is what you get, but yet they take your money. There is no concept of quality control or customer satisfaction. Because they are the only store around with such a service they have the attitude that anything goes. So if you want to get your meat from their butcher get ready to turn on your hawk vision and squeaky wheel because you will not get what you want or pay for if are not going to...
