Independent Ink Tattoo — Attraction in Silver City

Great experience! Amanda did an excellent job on my very important tribal Sun. For me this tattoo has so much meaning due to my heritage and my dad's life on the island. Amanda made my piece come to light with her lines and shades. Much better than the outline I gave her to go on. Have more I will be added in to this piece and definitely will ask Amanda to be my artist. What was so cool is while sitting in the chair I got to see a few tattoos Jerry did and can't remember the other male tatto artist name but he also does excellent artwork. The place is Immaculate, just so clean so was the bathroom. They are very conscious, disinfecting before and after each tattoo!! My girl got a tattoo and a nose piercing, and again they were Impeccable with cleanliness and disinfecting the piercing tools she actually disinfects them twice even though you only need it once. Very conscientious! I was impressed on so many levels would definitely recommend Independent...

Jerry is a-freaking-mazing. We came to visit my sister in law who also has been tattooed by Jerry. I don't regret it at all!! Jerry fit us in at 8 am on a Saturday morning. Thankfully Mondo (the tattoo he did looked so great, I would let him tattoo me as well) was there to take Jerry's 9 am appointment so my fiance could get a matching tattoo. Jerry made our design in ten mins from a simple picture that I drew up the night before. The 🌵 are for our family. My husband, myself, and our daughter. This will be a yearly trip, a tatto will be scheduled each time. He was so light with the needle and made me feel so comfortable.He made this an amazing experience. You are guaranteed a gorgeous tattoo!! I will never forget our first trip across the country....

I NEVER write a review…but here goes! I messaged via the google app early in the AM thinking I had to book an appointment for a later date. They got back to me promptly! I was able to get in SAME DAY within a few hours (staying an hour away and only wanting small tattoo) Once I got there I was greeted by Chris who made me feel very welcome. Over 10 years since my last tattoo and I was nervous! Chris took my anxiety away and made me feel right at home. I am ECSTATIC over my tattoo and the detail.
