Worth stopping in to get the local deets; but if it’s closed temporarily based on a one person show; and you’re desperate for a restroom - then go over the foot bridge on the right for the city restrooms. The Visitors Ctr was closed when we arrived so we walked around & found the replica of Billy the Kid’s childhood log cabin, Silver City Main Street & Little Toad Brewery. It was on the site of the original cabin that Billy the Kid lived with his mom and brothers. Walk the downtown and feel...

Knowledgeable staff are kind and helpful here! There is a large display of information on the CDT, community murals, local artist exhibits, and local history.
