Contrast Distillery — Attraction in Simpsonville

This is a little gem in downtown Simpsonville.

You can get a flight of different liquors which is so nice if you are looking to learn and find which one you like the best. They also offer drinks for those who don't want straight liquor.

The building is cool and they kept the art deco ceiling but have the contrast of a modern decoration (see what I did there). I love that the owners are so willing to talk and educate you on the distilling process and how everything is developed and made. And the first female head distiller, yes represent, pave that way

Clean modern aesthetic inside. Everything is distilled onsite here. The flights are a great value to try a bunch and find out a favorite to take home a bottle of. The American sambuca, "Compliments or Criticisms", has a strong anise (licorice) taste and was one of my favorites.
