I was in the market for a high end Taylor guitar. After a week or so of searching, I found an online link to one this shop had for sale. It was a little more money that I was able to spend, but I shot a message to the shop anyway. To my surprise, Mark, one of the sales guys, responded, on a Sunday evening no less!! He wasn’t able to get it all the way to my budget, but he and the shop owner pulled every string possible to get the price to what I could afford. Before I had even processed the payment, they had it boxed up extremely well and ready for shipment. I received the guitar less than 48 hours later and it was everything I had hoped it would be. These guys provided customer service beyond anything I could have possibly dreamed up!! Not many shops would even entertain working with the price on a guitar like this, but these guys went out of their way to make this dream guitar a reality for my family. I can’t thank you guys enough!!!

I would give zero stars if that were an option. I bought an item that was not even the item in the picture of what i purchased. The photo showed a fender stratocaster with a whammy bar and polished neck. And i got a fake fender starcaster with some crappy neck and no whammy :( Thoroughly disappointed. First 2 photos are what they showed and last one is what i got. 2 completely different items. Update- the owner just texted under this a load of bs. They never sent me a form saying that there was a mix up with the photo. I reached out to the business 2 different ways before making the post on the review section. I knew exactly what it was listed as. But because of the photo i thought they had it confused on their end and thought i was getting a steal. I know about gutairs. This business is faulty. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I've been dealing with the crew at DirtCheep literally for decades on and off. They are not a big box store now but carry all the essentials and keep an eclectic mix of new and used gear. (Including band instruments and pro audio) They are happy to trade and we generally always work out a deal fair for both of us. And that's half the fun! If I need a suggestion their combined decades of experience as a family-owned business is always spot on. And unlike the corporate big box stores, every time you go in there you'll see the same crew. Steve, Mark, Aldo and Aaron always will treat you right. They'll know you by name, keep a list of things you're interested in and it's just a top notch experience.

I desperately needed a GOOD audio EQ and made the dreadful mistake of purchasing a new one from an online big box. It cost $136 USD, was made primarily of plastic, had 15 sliders per channel with super bright LED lights which I was hoping to avoid, but this seems to be the gimmick these days. It was shipped 2 days later, went over half way around the country to places I do not live anywhere near. All this starting from a warehouse 1 hr from me. It went to Baltimore twice from Ft Myers Fl, then to Davenport, Fl for 4 days, then Ft Myers again. I canceled the order, yet it arrived 2 days later. Most of the sliders did nothing unless fully up or down, and the light blinded you from ever having a hope of seeing the actual settings on the front, no less the power switch.

Dirt Cheep however had the fix, the perfect fix. A quality ART Graphic EQ, made of real heavy steel, slightly used, cleaned and checked out, and shipped within 8 hrs, possibly sooner. It arrived quickly, in perfect working condition with 31 sliders per channel. And the best part, I paid not one dime more for this 12 LB quality behemoth than I did the plastic fantastic con job I got from the big box. These folks are straight forward, honest, hard working folks That will stand by their word. I had heard of them years ago through musician friends but never looked into them. It was been a blessing to do buisness with them and will likely be in the future :)

Thanks folks for selling an needy guy some honest gear.

This Place is EPIC!!! Staff is SUPER helpful and so friendly with tons of knowledge, there prices are of the best deals I have seen anywhere in the state of Georgia. The owner Arron is an awesome guy and the guitar tech on site is one of the best I have EVER seen in the 11 years I have been in the music industry. The guitar tech did a complete setup and a special neck adjustment to accommodate a Full-step down tuning with heavy gauge strings on my custom Taylor guitar all in no time and did an absolute fantastic job for an incredibly low price! They also carry great quality beginner level guitars at really affordable prices for anyone who might want to start to learn.

I'm not really sure how the store keeps the bills paid there because their prices are really that low. I mean a full set of in store "Dirt Cheap Guitar strings" are around $5 at the time I went in there.... That's Pretty incredible!

I seriously could not be happier, and If I need work done on any of my guitars I will no take them anywhere else, they are so worth the long drive...

Their name says it all. I bought a new trombone from there for my son who was starting in the band. He was very proud of it and took very care of it, but within weeks, a joint came apart and we had to get it soldered back together. Not long after that, it broke again and we had to pay to get it fixed. Also the slide never seemed to work well and always makes noise and doesn't glide well no matter how much we clean or grease it. We've also had that looked at a couple of times, but it keeps getting worse.

After all the trouble we had with it, I asked someone in the store about it and he told me it was just a cheap trombone. Funny they never mentioned that or how much trouble we would have with it when we bought it.

I thought we would save money over time by buying our own instrument instead of renting, but after this experience I wish we had rented. Consider how many problems and additional costs you might have if you're in the same situation. Or maybe try a different store with better quality...
