Dollar Tree — Attraction in Smyrna

Dollar tree Store I am writing to express my deep disappointment following a recent visit to one of your Dollar Tree locations. The store, located at , was in a state of disarray that I found quite alarming.

During my visit, I observed products scattered throughout the aisles, creating an unorganized and unwelcoming shopping environment. To make matters worse, there were no visible employees working on maintaining the store or assisting customers.

Of particular concern was the fact that I found moldy candy in the aisles. I immediately brought this to the attention of the store manager, but unfortunately, they seemed indifferent and unconcerned about the issue.

Additionally, the store’s exterior was just as neglected. Papers were strewn across the front of the store, which was particularly jarring considering that the surrounding area is generally well-maintained.

This level of neglect has been going on for some time, as this is not the first time I have noticed these issues at this location. I find it unacceptable that such conditions have been allowed to persist, and I believe it reflects poorly on Dollar Tree as a whole.

I urge you to investigate this matter promptly and take the necessary steps to ensure this store is brought up to the standards expected by your customers.

I would like to update my previous review, which was: One of the better dollar trees! Friendly knowledgeable workers. And the place is not a mess! (the product is actually on the shelves!) They have a good selection and trendy items!

*No more! They have their hours written out on a piece of paper in the door window. It’s ripped and you can’t see/read it from the outside. So they are open 3 hours late and close 3 hours early. Clearly they don’t have the staff. You can see from the windows out front that most of their product is in “go back” carts and not on the shelves. They have empty truck/delivery boxes stacked in the window. It’s a total and complete mess. Never going here again. I got there at 8 thinking they were just late. Knocked on the window because there was someone in their taking pictures of the mess. I pointed at my watch confused. And she said “we’re not open” I said “it’s 8” she said “I don’t work at this store but it opens at 11”and she smoothed the paper out to show me that it said 11. This store is better stocked than it used to be, but is an absolute mess in many areas, creating a fire hazard, with boxes all over the aisles. If the fire marshal came by, this store would be shut down. On many occasions, this store has been closed during regular business hours. Management and staff turnover is extremely high and only a few people here take their jobs seriously and it shows. It absolutely reeks of marijuana especially up front. Many undesirables and truant teenagers frequent this store and shoplift and trash the aisles. They also have a problem with people soliciting and panhandling right outside the door, which is illegal in GA. Staff could care less and legit just stand there after being notified numerous about the various issues. Lots of rude and lazy staff and also very rude and sketchy customers.
