Came here on a Saturday night to get a quick snack. Unlike the other 2 Brazilian bakeries in the area, this one was completely empty… my husband ordered a sandwich and then asked for the can of soda and fries for $1.99 that was advertised on the menu. When we went to pay, they charged us $1.99 for the fries and an extra $1.49 for the soda. When I asked the employee why the extra charge, she said that the combo was for a cup of soda not a can… but the menu clearly says “can of soda + fries with sandwich $1.99”. After a useless discussion we realized we weren’t getting anywhere so we canceled the sandwich order. Its a-shame they want to argue over a can of soda vs a cup of soda when menu is so clear. It cost them a customer now and forever. I just got a “sonho de creme” (type of Brazilian doughnut) to go, when I got to the hotel and took a bite I realized it was old and inedible. How are you serving old dated goods from a bakery? We would like to support this local Brazilian business but between the poor customer service and the bad quality of the food, we won’t...
We live in the USA, where 90% of the people uses credit card or debit card. But, if you want to buy anything in there, be aware that you going to have to spend at least $5 (i had only $2 in cash on me, and my tab was $3,15, so I had to get what I didn't want to match $5) if you need to use your Credit/Debit card. it's ridiculous we got pay over $5 so they can cover the fees of the credit card company they are affiliate with. Making the long story short they lost me as a customer. I recommend the Brazilian Bakery where there doesn't...
Read moreI saw all of the great ratings so I figured I would give something different a try for lunch one day. Unfortunately my experience was mediocre. I ordered a sandwich, fries, and a drink. It took around 10-12ish minutes to get my sandwich and I had to remind them that I hadn’t received my drink. Not a big deal cause mistakes happen. I received my drink and walked to the car with my food. I opened up my tray and realized my fries were not in the box. I went back inside and asked for my fries, they looked up my order in the register and saw that I did indeed order fries. Took another 10 minutes to give me my fries. Overall I spent around 25 minutes here and my sandwich my dry and my fries were unseasoned. I wanted to like this place but I probably...
