I almost left a bad review a few weeks ago due to specifically “Flynn!” and their horrible attitude and lack of capacity to be a decent person but didn’t, thinking maybe that had a horrible day. Clearly it isn’t just horrible day since somehow today they were even MORE rude to us.
They refuse to engage with customers, coldly staring catching flies in their mouth as if they didn’t just take the order and didn’t have one of our drinks sitting there. Laughed in our faces. Loudly sighing over the mic AGAIN. Please switch this person to a position without a customer facing focus until they learn the most basic customer service skills. Multiple of us are baristas and this is totally unacceptable. The food was great, but don’t go to this location if you want to experience this person’s day-ruining attitude.
Also, here is that previous review I chose not to post.
“If I had a dollar for the number of times the person taking our order sighed exasperatedly into the headset while taking the most basic order known to man, I could’ve paid the $20 for our food.
I don’t leave reviews on things unless I’m either extremely disappointed or pleased. “Flynn!” really hit the mark by making us all feel like hot trash while ordering and then continuing to make us feel like garbage when they didn’t hear/missed an item, causing them to loudly sigh and get frustrated to our faces.
I would consider letting all the employees know that the headsets are sensitive and they aren’t playing competitive esports where exasperated noises are okay. It makes people feel bad and we were nothing but kind and patient. Two of us are baristas and we all work customer service. We understand having bad days, but you really shouldn’t take that out on anyone. If you can’t handle the interaction, communicate to your coworkers and ask to switch.
Whoever is on warming and made our drinks did an...
Read morewhere do I begin with this Starbucks location- I spend a lot of money with this establishment to have more bad orders than good orders. I do understand mistakes happen but all the time...Here is here is where it begin. I order oatmeal there is so much water in it you can eat it like soup.- you cant eat it!!! I order an almond croissant it was hard and molded... horrible and disappointed!!! I order the new sangria tea once it taste like seltzer water with the color and no fruit-- I order it again had some fruit -- everyone made this drink in their own way I guess... I order chi tea latte with soy. once I arrived to work the tea was incorrect I returned to this Starbucks location with tea in hand and complained to the manager of having the incorrect tea and the manager on staff at that time made very little eye contact with me and wanted to brush the complaint off with a gift card or something. I explained I did not want a gift card or anything free all I wanted him to do was create a environment where his morning staff would be more consistent with quality food and correct drinks delivered. Surly as a customer if I can take the time to stop and spend my money they can take the time get my order correct. I don't complain often buy this is ridiculous!!!! I feel the staff need to go through training again-- I go to Starbucks every single day and it is more of a miss than a hit. I am not a fan any longer. some of my coworkers have stopped supporting this business and begin going to McDonald's for breakfast because of the inconsistency of this location. The only reason I continue to go is because of this freaking Starbucks APP on my phone.get their act together or they will lose more customers. anyone going to this location PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU...
Read moreThis Starbucks is a bit disappointing and has dipped over time. Order ahead on the app basically means they start your order when you get there to pick it up after the "order prep time" (even when they aren't busy).
While most of the baristas are well mannered and pleasant, some act like they could not care less. They've screwed up a beverage order on more than one occasion (regular milk v. almond milk, whipped cream when asked for no whip, iced v. hot). I've even received a different version of a drink than what I ordered. Small things, but they point to an unfocused crew. I understand that they get busy and probably a bit mechanical with their tasks, but that comes with the territory. Not to mention that since this is a takeaway location, getting a bad order isn't as simple as going up to the counter for them to make it right. It means driving back to the spot to complain.
On a recent visit, I picked up some pre-ordered food and a beverage. I got to my car and double checked my order, and they had forgotten a food item. As soon as I went back to the window, the barista said, "Glad you checked!" No attempt to come out to my car or flag me down. They would have let me drive off with an incomplete order.
And I have contacted Starbucks about some of these issues, and most of the time I get the expected, "Thanks for letting us know." It just doesn't seem like much is being done. People go to Starbucks not just for convenience, but because of an expected level of service. When that dips, one starts to wonder if a $5 latte is...
