Wonderful park to stroll, count your steps, admire and commune with nature. We saw a deer, only a few feet away from us, a blue and black butterfly and a cardinal. Not to mention some really well fed squirrels. Ball courts of all kinds, nice place for a picnic. Depending where you venture, you too can see the churning brown waters of the water treatment facility. It's a great place to relax or get your exercise. Love this park. Since it was in the mid 70’s today, me and my fiancé thought it’d be a great day to ride our bikes. We keep the bikes in storage over on 9th St., so we jump on the 9th St. trailhead and come on over to the park. We love this park, it’s always clean, has clean bathrooms and water fountains galore! Very cool seeing Capt. Kuss’ FA-18 Hornet there, and knowing that me and my fiancé has 2 pavers we bought for the financing to get it built is a great feeling!!
