Alo Michoacan Natural Ice Cream — Restaurant in Smyrna

I dont hate this place by any means, me and my boyfriend come here for our dates many times and love the ice cream and other stuff they offer. That being said, i would recommend investing in a label maker and labeling the icecream flavors along with the ingredients, everytime i come here i have to ask what the flavors are and they seem to get aggravated when you ask. Also i would recommend investing in a better menu, a menu that includes prices of not just the icecream but other things that they offer, such as how much their yogurt or other food items cost. i actually had no idea this place sold chicken wings until i found it on the doordash app, this place seriously needs a better menu along with more engaging workers, the workers seem constantly bored or annoyed to answer questions. other than that this place is great and i would highly recommend but it definitely needs...

The place looks nice and they have good icecream flavors, but they’re too cheap to set the freezer to the proper temperature so the icecream is too soft and it starts melting and leaking before they even hand it to you. You try to pay with one hand while holding a leaky ice cream in the other. It makes for a bad experience.

2023 update: decided to give it another shot, so I came back after 2 years. Ice cream is still too soft and runny. Also the sugar cones have a paper wrapper at the base which is glued to the cone itself. When you remove the weapper, the glue remains on the cone. Not something you or your kids should eat. The “playground” in the back is old, rusty and unsafe.

How is this place still...

if I could give zero stars I would. we waited for about 20 minutes to be helped, myself and my 82 yr old mother with a walker. she wanted a chocolate ice cream cone. the girls helped the people that came in after us, and then went to the back room and laughed and looked at their phones and never came back out to help us. I will never go back, apparently they don't need our business. went to Karen's down the road, excellent...
