MCA Car Audio — Attraction in Smyrna

Not such a good experience for me: I was quoted 3 different prices, a clip was broken on the cigarette lighter insert that they tried to glue back on, they added a splitter to the radio wire harness that only allowed one side of the stereo to play (the left side) and the right side played through the woofer (told me they had to as to not adversely effect the bass) and I was charged for it. They did not add a ground loop device to keep the alternator, headlight switch and blinkers from sounding through the speakers. They did not properly re-attach the right passenger temperature control cable that resulted in not being able to adjust the heat/cool on that side of the car. Apparently they did not check out the radio thoroughly after installing.Then I was told at checkout that there was no warranty since I had a pre-wired harness. I was seated in the car while the service guy was in the passenger side and turned on the radio for me to listen to-sounded pretty good but It was really loud-I was told about the pop when the headlights were turned on, but I have auto headlights so was not concerned-should have been. When I went home to adjust the balance and fader was when I discovered the wiring error. I called several other installers including the tech where I bought the radio system and all agreed it was not done right. This is my 1st negative review unfortunately, I was a customer of this place, but I called in for a quote and thought it was a little high. So wanted to talk to the actual electrician doing the work and see what he thought the cost should be. As I was talking to him the young lady walked outside and I simply asked them what brand lights/kits they were using and she got smart ass and told me to do my own research with a attitude. She is very lucky my wife wasn't with me as she would have got put in check very quickly. As my wife would have not tolerated her attitude . Well the electrician actually doing the work is very professional and he is good at what he does and very respectful but the lady who answers the phone and quotes prices definitely had a attitude today and as a man all I could do is laugh and do business elsewhere. They lost a good customer do to her shitty attitude! Bet they are losing lots of customers because of her or maybe she was having a bad day. Let me also add the 1 light kits were only $50 and the other $100 so they wanted $650 for labor! Crazy. This is by far the best car stereo shop I have ever been to. I have had several cars over the years that have all been modified professionally here in the Atlanta area. I have used countless shops and nearly every brand of equipment. These guys are top notch. They are honest, friendly, professional, and fast.
