I’ve been coming to the gym since June 2023. Had a prior interest in powerlifting before coming. My previous trainer was fabulous and was going to begin training me in powerlifting. Then I was in a pretty bad car accident in March 2023. I share this because prior to June 2023 all things shifted including work schedule. I had just noticed in June the gym, Georgia Strength Compound, while heading to a grocery store to shop. Inquired about what was offered. Directed to speak to Steve. Steve explained about the gym and his training method. Steve became my coach. Both the gym and coach has been beneficial, friendly, open, and available. I have seen progress since starting my journey in June including learning patience, gentleness and consistency. My programming with Coach Steve has created a confidence and flexibility experienced within my body and cultivating my vision of health. The lines of communication is nurtured with consistent checkins and dialogue. The gym itself is clean and where it can be accessed beyond my coaching sessions during the week. There is plenty of equipment. In observation, it’s a joy to be around all walks of life and cultures. While I am in school becoming a Reverend of Spiritual Consciousness for the 4 levels of being/healing (mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical), Coach Steve and his place of business has become my component of healing on my journey. For me, it’s not just a place to address the physical but my very own totality of Self. I have found being led by clear intention, I fulfill and care for a present me and loved-on me. Thank You Georgia Strength Compound for being apart of my regimen where at one point I was afraid and would honestly give up this aspect of myself that sought my attention.

Read moreMaking the decision to join this gym and work with Steve has been one of the best I’ve made in a long time. I was looking for a trainer who would actually listen to me, take into account my concerns and physical challenges, and still push me while still holding space for those challenges. I was so happy to have found Steve, who is more than willing and able to do all those things. The strength gains I’ve seen in just the span of a couple months working with Steve are more than I’ve seen in myself in over 15 years. The gym is clean and comfortable - everyone’s friendly but not in your business. As a woman, it can be a challenge to find a gym without the creeps; but that’s what’s been created at Georgia Strength Compound....
