Lovely people all around. Everyone was so friendly. It's always a bit scary entering a new space where everyone knows each other. It's good to see the friendly paintball community still thriving. By the end of the day, I felt like I made a few friends. Everyone was eager to say hi to the new guy and make me feel welcome. That's the paintball I remember. I wish the pickup games were a little more structured. Seems normal that players just start wherever they want with markers up and at the ready. But it's a minor issue. I can't recommend this place enough. Even the pro players were inviting and friendly. Helping the community grow. Check out their pro shop for all your paintball needs. Shop is just as friendly as the field. Thanks!

We came to DoodleBug Sportz for a birthday party paintball session, and it was an absolute blast! Everything was so well-organized, and our host, Jake, was fantastic—he stayed with our group the whole time, explained the rules clearly, kept us stocked on paint and air, and suggested fun game ideas. It had been years since I last played paintball, but this experience reminded me how fun it is! The equipment was in great shape, and we barely had any issues with the guns. We played on five different courses, which kept things fresh and exciting. We also rented camo jumpsuits (totally worth it, especially since it was rainy and muddy that day). Highly recommend for all ages—can’t wait to come back!

I just had to take a moment to sing the praises of Kensley! From the very first "Hey y'all," we knew we were in for a treat. It had been a minute since our group had been out on the paintball field, and let me tell you, Kensley's warm, welcoming attitude and that delightful South Carolina accent put us at ease right away.

She wasn't just there to blow the whistle; she was a true guide and mentor. She took the time to patiently walk us through all the rules, safety procedures, and even some updated game strategies that we were totally clueless about. You could tell she genuinely wanted us to have a blast, and her enthusiasm was infectious!

Kensley's instructions were crystal clear, and she had a knack for explaining things in a way that was easy to understand, even for those of us who were a little... rusty. She kept the games flowing smoothly, made sure everyone was playing fair, and her calls were always spot-on.

But what truly stood out was her personality. She kept things light and fun, with a great sense of humor and a smile that never seemed to fade. She offered encouragement, gave us tips, and even shared a few laughs with us between rounds. It felt like we were playing with a friend, not just being officiated by a ref.

Thanks to Kensley, our paintball experience was absolutely fantastic. She turned what could have been a slightly intimidating experience (especially for those of us who were a little nervous about getting shot!) into a day filled with laughter, adrenaline, and good old-fashioned fun. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable time. We left the field with huge smiles on our faces, already planning our next trip back.

If you ever have the chance to have Kensley as your ref, consider yourself lucky! She's a true asset to the paintball community, and we can't thank her enough for making our day so special. We're already looking forward to seeing her again on our next...

Zebra was wonderful and this five-star rating is for him! If there is poop residue on your gear, it's not his fault.

There was no hand sanitizer in one of the bathroom stalls, so I used the sanitizer in the other stall and walked over to checkin to let the folks there know. Surely this will be a normal conversation, I thought, an easy oversight to rectify.

"You can use this one," the checkin guy told me, tapping the bottle at the counter. "Thanks! I just used the one in the other stall, but there's none in one of the bathrooms. Like, if other people needed it." "Yeah, sorry about that. Someone threw up in there. You can use this one."

I looked at the nearby tables, where a pack of middle-school-ish boys (a demographic renowned for their high hygienic standards and sniper-like toilet aim) were putting on their rented gear, wondering why someone throwing up in the bathroom should mean we remove ways to clean up.

We had some more polite back and forth, until at some point, he became irritated and repeated, "You can use this one," as if I were extremely stupid.

I just kinda walked away because I did not know how to explain to a grown adult that he should care about a situation that mixed 1) widely shared rental gear including gloves and guns, and 2) a Portapotty-style bathroom with one-ply paper where the only way for people to sanitize their hands requires a hike and an Easter Egg hunt.

I'm not the tidiest person. I eat food off the floor, meat past the date. My favorite restaurant has an "Okay" rating from the health department. But this dude's reaction genuinely had me questioning whether I was a germaphobic Karen for suggesting that we make it easier for people to wash their hands before we all share gear.

Probably everyone is fine and there's no poop or pee on your guns or gloves or anything! Paintball was really...

DONT GO IF YOU PLAN ON RENTING A GUN AND PLAYING IN THE OPEN SESSION.

Went here with a buddy on a saturday and we rented some guns for the open session. Staff were very friendly. The main issue or complaint I have is how do they expect you to have fun when their rental guns shoot about 1 ball a second and then they match you up against a bunch of speed ballers whos guns shoot 30 balls per second. Dont bother going unless you bring your own speed ball gun and gear which you have spent 1000+ on and are planning on shooting about a minimum of 3000 paintballs.

Also the courses are way to small for the team sizes they were setting up. The courses should be maybe max 7vs7. Were as when I played they were doing teams of 10vs10 or more and over half of which were speed ballers ready to release a tornada of paint down upon your measly pee shooter of a rental.

There was maybe about 7 or 8 people with rental guns and then 15 plus with all decked out speed ball guns that could drown you in a river of paintballs before you'd be able to say mama.

They could fix this be separating the rentals out from the speed ballers. Or limiting the amount of paintballs that people are able to bring into the match. Like really? I dont get how they expect any rental people to have fun or bother coming back for the open session.

If you have spent 1000+ on gear then you would probably like...
