Love, love, love Kristen. She listens to exactly what you want and helps you find exactly what you need. She's the most friendly, caring, amazing stylist I've had the pleasure of meeting and coming back to for years. I have come to Red Strand for almost 8 years and after losing another stylist to a place further away, I was more than pleased to meet Kristen. The friendly, welcoming and competent atmosphere has kept me coming back over the years. Their recent remodel made it easier for me, as a mom, to bring my children with me when our schedules didn't match up to come alone. Thank you SO MUCH, for creating the space for our kids, it is more appreciated than you will ever know! ❤️ I am so sad to move out of state, but recommend Kristen and the salon to EVERYONE. This salon was very accommodating to a last minute wedding Bridal party that needed hair and makeup done for a Sunday wedding. The salon is not normally open on Sundays but after talking with the owner she made accommodations, 4 workers on hand, a small Sunday Fee but the salon was clean and private for the bridal party! Hot/Iced Coffee, Mimosas and pastries were waiting when we arrived. The cost for hair & makeup is very reasonable. I've only been there once, but I liked what I saw--a friendly and comfortable neighborhood business that focuses on customer service w/o taking itself too seriously. Their booking and scheduling is done online, which I like quite a lot. Prices are variable depending on the stylist you choose. The more experienced they are, the more you pay.
