Shiraz Alteration Center — Attraction in South Abington Township

Fati is incredible. I had a bridesmaid dress that had to be altered in a very tight time frame since the dress came in very late from the retailer. I wasn’t going to be in town for the few weeks I had left before the wedding, so I was worried about taking it somewhere to be altered and not having a chance to try it on in advance of the wedding weekend. I called around to many places hoping to get a weekend appointment. Luckily, one of the shops I called was Shiraz and Fati suggested I come in the next day and let her get an idea of how much work had to be done. I stopped in Saturday afternoon and after assessing the dress, she said she would start working on it as soon as she closed the shop. She even offered me to come back that same night instead of the next day. Although I'm sure this is not a normal turnaround time, she knew I was in a tough bind and went above and beyond. This was a Hayley Paige dress with 4 layers of fabric. The straps needed to be shortened and the hem needed to be drastically shortened. It was definitely not an easy alteration! She was so extremely nice and did an amazing job. She even altered some things I didn’t realize should be altered, so the dress looked better than ever. And her prices are so reasonable. I am definitely returning to her for any future...

I highly recommend Shiraz for wedding alterations! The work was AMAZING and the price was very reasonable, especially considering my needs. She was accomodating with my schedule (I was traveling for alterations) and finished my dress well within my 5 month timeline between buying my dress and my wedding, making sure there was no stress getting that done.

The work that was done on my wedding dress is truly incredible!! I fell in love with and purchased a sample dress that was at least 3 sizes too big with an amazing peek a boo train - and afterwards the fear set in because of all the work that was needed. I also have scoliosis and very uneven hips/shoulders which added an extra challenge.

The work that was done on my dress was incredible!! The fit felt great despite all the challenges and she really helped me feel beautiful in my dress. She took out a corset in the back to make it fit my style, and you would never know it was even there. The work that was done on my train is also incredibly difficult and very few people are trained to do it, and she finished it beautifully.

Best seamstress and alternations!! I had been going to a place for about 10 years and all of a sudden she started doing bad cheap fixes and I’m talking a month or more to have your stuff done so I looked at some Google reviews and I found Shiraz Alterations-I’m so happy I did they are absolutely amazing ! When I called they asked me when do I wanna come in there was no waiting time when I went in it was very friendly a beautiful great atmosphere they had my stuff done by the following week. When I picked my stuff up I didn’t have time to try anything on I was running late for work when I got home I tried everything on I can not believe the amazing work that they did, absolutely amazing! You will not go wrong with this place believe me they are top notch! Thanks so much Shiraz now my jumpsuit is ready to rock for Las Vegas and all my jeans fit perfectly now.
