This is some of the worst American Chinese food I’ve eaten. The spring rolls were tasteless. The General Tso’s isn’t crunchy, and tastes how it looks, remarkably bad. (It’s just their same same flavorless spongy sweet and sour chicken in Tso’s sauce). The Singapore Chow Mei Fun had all the makings of an edible dish, until you see how wet it is and how little curry is incorporated.
I asked for extra spicy food and there still wasn’t enough heat to burn the taste of trash out of my mouth. The worst part is that this place’s food is at an exceptionally high price point for not only the area but also the quality. I would be ashamed if I made American-Chinese food this bad that...
Read moreI order many things from the menu here, and ive never had a bad dish. At least once a week, I just order a small wonton soup to go. Sunny has hands down THE BEST wonton soup I've ever eaten. A lot of times, the pasta for the wonton is very mooshey and soft... not Sunny. The pasta is perfect, the flavor of the meat inside has this very subtle, pleasant sweetness, and the broth is perfect. Flavorful but not too salty. A small wonton soup comes with 5 wontons and broth for $3.15. Thats such a good deal. I actually had wonton soup from Sunny 3 times this week. What can I say, it's AMAZING!! Also, it's quick and easy pick up with their drive thru! Sooo...
Read moreI just picked up my order, shrimp Lo Mein, sesame chicken & veggie soup. The shrimp Lo Mein was great but shrimp was very, very small but tender. The sesame chicken was GREAT but I forgot to say veggie rice and I got pork fried rice, my bad on that! The soup broth was unfortunately very bland and had no flavor outside of the carrots and green beans. I had hoped it was a chicken broth with veggies, which would have been great. But outside of that, the young man and his girlfriend in the front were very friendly and expressed interest in our (Bklyn) conversation! I look forward to MANY future orders and to share their location with my local neighbors...
