The 1st day we went in we met with Patricia. She was great. The appointment was for my father who was switching from sprint. He didn't know his code so she could not do anything that day. So I went ahead and purchased a tablet and some accessories. The next day we went back and my father had the code, he bought a new phone, a case, and the protective liquid glass covering for it. And I purchased another phone and added another line . She had told him she was going to waive the 40.00 activation fee and even asked her district manager who ok'd it. She then became hurried and kept telling us that she had another customer coming in. I even had to do his military discount at home. After a couple of days I noticed that the 40.00 was never waived. I called customer care and they suggested calling the store. I talked to Patricia and she said she was with a customer and would call us back. No call back. I just wanted my 75 year old father to love verizon as much as I do. But she has put a bad taste in his mouth and does not trust a person that is always preoccupied with making the next sale and no follow up. My suggestion go to another location. So I returned everything and still the bill lingered over me and they never credited me back the right amts. While I was staying with my daughter in Clark's Summit I figured I would go into the store in Clark's Summit and see if they could help me with my phone and the bill as well..I worked with Patricia Edwards who spent Over 2 hrs on the phone with customer service to help me straighten out the bill and get me a device that was correct to me and my needs. Patricia Really Went UP OVER AND BEYOND for me! Guy had me in and out with a new phone with all my information and even my phone number from T-Mobile loaded on it in my hand, and all my phone,tech,Verizon questions answered within an hour. When I went back to see him I was told he moved to Clarks Simmit [I guess heās doing well] so I came here and he recognized me and helped me out again with all my follow-up questions and even lowered my bill another $20. It might be further away from me and Iām sure the Carbondale store serves its customers fine, but I have confidence in whatever Brendan tells me because heās been 100% correct so farā¦he knows his craft and I respect that too much to go to...
