Jacqueline’s in South Amboy handled all of the family arrangements for my grandmother’s funeral. She loved flowers all throughout her life, and while she always said to give her flowers while she was around to smell them, we wanted to make sure these final flowers reflected all she was to us. Joe was wonderful in being compassionate and producing stunning arrangements under a very tight timeline. His suggestions were very helpful, such as how to adjust an arrangement to make suitable to lay it on top of the casket. She had a sweet tooth and had ice cream every day for most of her life; when we asked if there was some way to make an ice-cream sundae arrangement from her great-grandchildren, Joe advised against it, saying it would be very expensive and wouldn’t look up to par. He asked if we’d be willing to trust him to come up with something nice in carrying with that theme, and we said yes. We were so touched when that arrangement arrived; flowers were threaded through waffle cones throughout, and the effect of these flower ice-cream cones was subtle, sweet, and captured her perfectly. All of the arrangements were full, not a single petal was wilted, and they were such a perfect mix of bright vivacious color and the most delicate pastels. She went over every single detail with us and took away any stress that we had about the flowers for our wedding day. She would follow up with phone calls and even had a meeting with my wife after she picked out her wedding dress so she could see photos to ensure that the bouquets for her and her bridesmaids were the perfect match. Jacqueline's Florist was recommended to us for our wedding at the Hamilton Manor. It was an easy decision to book them for our wedding after a visit to their shop and how easy they made the perfect floral arrangement without much vision from us. Because of the genuine care Kim showed us during that visit, we didn't even move the car in the parking lot before going back inside to agree to having Jacqueline's Florist do all of our floral needs for our wedding. This was our one and only florist we spoke to about doing our wedding!
