Cat's Paw Winery — Attraction in South Carolina

I'm reposting this with altered wording because google flagged it for words usage (even though it was the verbatim words of the owner)

The location was great, the atmosphere felt homey, the seating options were great. The different wine flavors and the pricing were great. My friends and I decided to go there and try it at the recommendation of another friend and TikTok. Everything was going great and my best friend and I were actually going to buy a couple of bottles to take home, we liked it so much.

But then the owner (I think his name was John), came over to ask how we were doing, and if we were sent over by tiktok, and we said "partly so" and explained. And then he said he doesn't know anything about the app but that the "Binks", made it and that if the "Binks app keeps driving people over and making us money" that "hell, I'd even try to speak some bink bong". And continued to keep referring to them in that manner.

I get that his viewpoint might not reflect that of the other younger family members who work with him. And i get that most old southern white men are inherently racist, but that doesn't mean I can in good consciousness sit idly by, let alone support it. Especially since he is the owner.

So we did not buy anything more and will not be back

After a random Google search, my friend and I found ourselves at Cats Paw Winery. Tucked in the back, off the beaten path, this cozy winery makes you feel right at home. Upon entering we received a warm and friendly greeting from multiple staff members and the owner. We informed the owner how we had come across Cat Paws and with warm smile he welcomed us. He provided a detail explanation as to how "Cats Paw Winery" came about and the processes he uses to produce his wines. After a brief tour, we noticed they offered wine tasting and he immediately paired us with one of his staff members.

Linda was absolutely phenomenal! She listened to our wine preferences and provide amazing recommendations/suggestions based on what we told her. I must say the wines were absolutely divine! We decided to purchase 4 bottles, one of which we uncorked at the location. Additionally, we received two Cats Paws Winery souvenir glasses. Once we were finished, the staff took great care to re-corked our bottle and tightly wash/package our souvenir glasses.

We decided to visit Cat's Paw today for the first time. It it such a nice hidden gem. We were greeted by such a friendly smiling staff. After mentioning it was our first time, we sat down at the bar, immediately given popcorn and water. Then given the wine list, advised how to choose my flight. One of the best things was the most majestic orange kitty named Morris, who just laid there and allowed me to just pet and loved on him. Of course I was able to meet Simon and Percy as well. The wine flight was amazing. I will say all the wine was very tasty, however I have to say Joey's Merlot was my top choice and the Cabernet Reserve to follow. Of course two bottles had to come home. I will definitely be visiting again, so...
