Grand Strand Model Railroad Club, Inc — Attraction in South Carolina

We were in town for vacation and I visited specifically to see their N scale layout, which is built along one wall, and they're building another level above it. The layout was featured in the Nov/Dec issue of N Scale magazine, and their unique staging area was featured in the Jan/Feb issue. The HO scale layout uses about 2/3 of the space. Both layouts have tons of detail and opportunities for operational interest. What an amazing display of trains!!! My boys are obsessed with trains, so when I was planning our trip to Myrtle Beach, I did some research and found this place! I think it is great that these volunteers put in all of this time and effort to keep these train displays going! I really appreciated this place when they first opened. My son loved trains for years. I took him there often, when we visited Myrtle Beach. The last time was bitter sweet, it's just the same as it has always been. You guys need to get creative, mix it up a little. Add something new, maybe you have, but it goes unnoticed.
