Barefoot edgewater — Hotel in North Myrtle Beach

I was very disappointed. It certainly has potential for being a wonderful place. However it lacks urgent attention. Yes, it was clean. We had 4 bedrooms but only 3 had tvs. None of them work do to HTC up grades. We had 4 nights 5 days with kids who was extremely bored due to lack of tv. Also the WiFi was not working we again contacted the property owner who was no help at all. After several hours me alone with my family realize all WiFi info was also changed. The owner clearly don’t vist this property are just dont care.The dinner table chairs screws were extremely loose to were it could have spell danger for my elderly mom. The refrigerator was not cooling we had to freeze food to avoid potential spoilage. We had several other issues with the room and photos were sent to the owner. Like i said the unit has potential but not unless the owner give it some immediate attention. The tvs were old and just not compatible with HTC. As a result i give this place 1 out 5. Last but not least the owner only credit 15$ back to my card. SMH Vaction...

Stayed at Edgewater for the month of May. Absolutely beautiful condo with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, comfortable beds and furniture, large kitchen, plenty of space. Amazing waterway and golf course views. The only thing that overshadowed our vacation was Memorial Day bike weekend. It was so loud at night, we couldn't sit on the screened in porch--there was some sort of event across the waterway at the mall. Otherwise it was a lovely getaway....

This resort is for owners who do not want renters here. Renters drive up the cost of insurance because they are a liability. They make a mess and then leave. Go stay at a hotel on the beach that caters to renters. You are not welcome here if you are not a...
