Pass The Pudding — Restaurant in South Carolina

Updated review on July 7, 2025 I wanted to clarify that I absolutely did visit your location in the Myrtle Beach Mall food court, as reflected by my receipt. During my visit, the older white woman who helped us explained that the majority of your options were with your food truck at an event, and that the only choice without banana pudding or chocolate at the mall location that day was the strawberry shortcake.

I understood that the juice was separated from the strawberries to prevent the cake from being soggy; however, even after pouring the tiny amount of juice over the cake as instructed, the cake itself was dry and gritty, unfortunately not fresh or soft as I had hoped.

In my original review, which I had originally gave you a 4 star still, I made a point to compliment your mall staff's customer service and kept my feedback fair and constructive. I even said I might try your shop again in the future. That’s why I was surprised and disappointed by your response suggesting that I hadn’t actually visited your store.

I support small businesses and wanted to enjoy your product, but my review reflects my real experience and honest opinion. I hope this helps clear up any confusion. Maybe one day I will try it again, but since your location is in a dying mall, I'm not sure how soon that would be.

OMG! I was in Myrtle beach and came across this place. I was a little apprehensive about trying their Banana pudding because you just can’t eat everybody’s Banana Pudding because everybody can’t make it. When I tried it, it was absolutely DELICIOUS! It was the best I’ve ever tasted. I was impressed with the way it tasted, the service and the set up of the store. The customer service was outstanding! This is my third time in Myrtle beach and I’ve already tried three of the flavors, regular Banana pudding of course, Butter Rum and the Strawberry Shortcake. When I go back I will try the Sweet Potato Banana pudding, Pecan pie Banana pudding, Pumpkin Pie Banana pudding, and the Butter cream banana pudding. This place is a secret gem! It’s located in Myrtle Beach Mall and although malls are having a hard time with foot traffic, this desert spot gets customers that love their large variety of goodies. The staff and owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about so many different types of deserts they offer. They are known for their banana pudding but will also make it without bananas! My favorite was the strawberry shortcake cup!! They also had some strawberry lemonade that would rival and win against Chic-fil-A’s lemonade.
