Notice to Mattress Firm Management. When your employees wear your company gear showing your company name, they are a representative of your company. Last weekend, I was parking at the Washington State Fair Grounds for their Spring Fair. There are two inbound parking lines for paying to park. However, once past that, there is but one line for parking. As I was leaving the payment location, a white truck to my right turned into the single parking line followed by me. However, one of your employees, who was apparently in a rental car and was working your booth in the Showplex, and was in the line to my right, cut me off nearly hitting the front of my Camry and drove right down the single line without having even looked in my direction.
As luck would have it, that SOB was parked in the same line as me. As his passenger got out of the car, I let him know they cut me off nearly hitting me and didn't even look my way once. He mumbled something rude and both left. Thankfully, the parking attendant took note of his attire and the ID badge stating that they also failed to follow his parking directions. He said the comment the guy made about me wasn't very nice.
I was there for a performance so once I was done, I checked out the booth directly by the stage where I performed and he wasn't there. So, I checked out the Showplex and guess who I found. I found that SOB. I asked to speak with the manager in charge and was directed to the counter where I spoke with a man. He took my name, number, and asked if the guys that did this were in his area. I pointed to the guy standing directly behind me. the guy at the counter said he was sorry for this and someone would call me first thing in the morning. I told him he didn't owe me the apology, the passenger and the driver did.
Well, did I get that call? NOPE! Lacks professionalism, lacks courtesy, lacks ethics, lacks integrity. I could go one, but you get it. Your company name is now soiled by these two individuals. In fact, I hold your entire company responsible because you clearly haven't educated your team very well. about basic human courtesy and...learning to wait their turn. I have twice nearly purchased a queen mattress system from your place there at the Washington State Fair. However, I would NEVER EVER give you my business if my life depended upon it now. Failure to follow through is failure of your business!!!!! Oh and by the way, what idiot leaves his rental car running the entire time they are working? Oh, yeah...your guy. Worse, your manager there working the Spring Fair I now hold equally at fault as I can't help but wonder if he was the driver of...

After looking through the windows for about a minute Regan finally appeared. She opened the door enough to pop her head out and asked how she could help us. I told her I was shopping for a mattress. She asked me what I was looking for (still not letting us in) I said I wasnāt sure and thatās why I was there and at that point she finally let us in. I gave her my price range and how soft I like my mattress. I laid on a few and really liked one. Regan was really pushy asking me after only laying on two which I wanted. I was only at the store for less than 10 minutes when I decided which one I wanted. It came with an adjustable bed frame too which I liked. After purchasing the mattress and a protective sheet I laid down on a nice Temperpedic mattress just for fun. Regan said that when Iām ready for a ābig girl mattressā that they can help finance the mattress. I was taken aback by the comment. I recently lost everything in a fire so spending $5k+ on a mattress is not a smart decision for me (also financing a mattress for 7 years is not a smart decision for anyone). I felt like she was talking down to me multiple times. I probably should have gone to another store to purchase the same mattress but I had already gave her the money before the hurtful comments started coming. Maybe she has a weird sense of humor but it didnāt come across good as a customer. I will not be going back to this location.
Edit: the manager, Mike, reached out to me about my experience at the store. He listened to me and helped make it up to me. I really appreciated his quick response and the way he handled the situation. Totally changed my mind...

He just showed enthusiasm for his craft, and I do believe he looks at it that way. Heās not a salesman. Heās a teacher and I should have asked if he had that background. If not, he certainly could have. We bought a mattress for our RV, which we could do because itās a standard queen size bed. He also gave us advice about how we can duplicate the features we have on our bed at home in the RV so that we can come close as close as possible to a similar experience. I highly recommend Mattress Firm because the last time we made a purchase at a different store before we knew this one was closer to us, the experience was very similar. They train their people to know their product and to tailor your needs to their products. I will always go back there because this shows that they want to create customers who are motivated to do exactly this. I refuse scores of these review requests, but I jumped on this one because I am very impressed with the level of service, quality of the product and by waiting for the Presidentās day sale, I got what I think is a more...
