MOD Pizza — Restaurant in South Hill

Mod is a good place to go if you want a good pizza for one price that you can add as much toppings as you want. The service is usually really good, bit I would definitely recommend ordering online and then arriving to pick up your pizza as you will them not have to wait in the usually long line to just order. The reason for the 4 stars on this visit is that we ordered our pizzas online at 5:45 and were told they would be ready at 6:05. We arrived at 6:05 to find that our pizzas were not ready, so we said "okay they are busy we will wait untill they come out". We waited and waited and our name is never called. 25 min later we finally see one of our pizzas we have been waiting for! Went we ask for it we also find that our other pizza as been sitting there for who knows how long and the name has never been called out for the whole time we have been waiting. We got both pizzas, one was not cut at all so we had to ask for it to be cut, and the other did not have the drizzle we ordered on top. Finally after all that we got to eat, and the pizza was good. IDK if we will go again anytime soon as the wait kinda kills the mood when you are told it will be ready at a certain time and it's not one not ready but when you get it something is wrong. My family and I have had MOD quite a few times before, but this experience was worthy of the review!

Daughters birthday party is today, so I showed up right after open to make sure I could get what we needed early enough. Was greeted right away, ordered my six dairy-free cheese breads w/ light garlic, and paid with zero issues. Friendly service from start to finish!

Clean restaurant, lots of condiments and napkins available for diners, service is quick, friend, and approachable. 5/5 on experience and service!

The only reason this is not a 5-star rating is because the paper towel dispenser was empty in the men’s restroom and the roll of paper towels to dry with was sitting on top of the toilet. Not exactly the place I’d prefer to grab my towels from, but at least there was something to dry my hands with ☺️ If I was dining in, this may have affected my experience negatively. Additionally, if this was during lunch rush or end of day, the paper towels being empty is more understandable. At open, though, a little bit of a different story. (More of a note for MOD if they ever read this ☺️)

I ordered 2 kids meals and 2 MOD 11" pizzas. Half the items were missing on one pizza, even though the slip taped to the top of the box listed the items i asked for(missing pineapple, olives, green peppers) Also, my second MOD pizza was missing the pesto sauce, again it was listed on the slip taped to the top. I didnt notice until i got home. I should have checked the pizzas but i checked the slips and assumed they were correct. When i called i was told to bring the pizza back in and they would remake it. It would have been almost an hour round trip to go get my pizza fixed. Highly dissapointed in the lack of bacon on both pizzas and the lack of ham on the other one. There was about 1 tsp worth of bacon on each pizza. Each slice of my pizza had 1 small piece of ham or 2 per slice. After i mentioned that i was not going to take an extra hour to come back and have my pizza remade, i was offered a free pizza next time.
