Fry Pan — Restaurant in Washington

I should have listened to the reviews and not ordering them, but I made the mistake of still trying them out. I put in the phone order at 3:19 Pm(record on my phone), and the guy said it will take around 50mins to deliver. Ok so I waited and till 4:50 Pm, the food is still not here, so I called again. This time a lady answered the phone, first she can't find my order, and then she finally found my order she said that they delivered it to the wrong place and the delivery guy came back already? Tell me how they delivered it to the wrong place when I'm going to pay them cash? Nobody is going to accept the food they didn't order and they have to pay for...then she said they are going to make it asap and get it to me, and she said she has the receipt lol..ok so we waited again, till 5:50 Pm it's FINALLY delivered to me, they didn't offer any discount and the food is mostly disgusting. Just FYI, we got general tso and sweet sour chicken with white rice and fried rice. And the genera tso is so gross my husband can not eat it at all!! He loves general tso, he gets it every time we go to any Asian place. But this time it's so undercooked and there is more flour than chicken in every piece. And my sweet sour sauce taste nothing like the ordinary sweet sour sauce you get. It's not sweet sour, it's just sweet and pineapplely! I'm an exchange student from mainland China, and these food disgust me. The only decent food we can actually eat is the white rice and the fried rice, and just so you know we paid them $35 including tips and delivery charge, and all we can actually eat is just rice? You be the judge and decide if you are going...

I really wanted to like this place. I never knew it existed till today and was so excited when I saw these reviews. 4 stars woot woot. I went in and the kid at the counter was great, friendly and upbeat. saw the sign best chow mien in puyallup. I was drooling. I ordered chicken chow mien, szeshuan chicken and mongolian beef plus paid extra for fried rice. My to go order with a 5.00 tip was 45.00 The food is disgusting (I have plenty left going in trash I wont feed it to my dog). The Chow mein and rice were both dry, flavorless and had little in it but rice and noodles (couple pieces of tasteless chicken in the chow mein) Szechuan chicken and mongolian beef were gross. Sauce had no flavor, beef was rubbery in texture chicken bland and vegetables way overcooked to point of soggy and gross. I so regret going into this place. Since the kid was so nice I wanted to do 2 stars but I cannot. I am about to throw away 45.00 worth of food. Portions were small but who cares as it is inedible. I eat chinese often and never have had food remotely this bad. Top Gun Auburn, former Main gardens puyallup, house of Kee Puyallup, Peking garden in sumner all great food I could have gone couple blocks to House of Kee and got quality chinese food, twice as much for the money and wouldn't have to leave home again since I need food and my kitchen is torn apart and I cannot cook at home. Ordered food for delivery took over an hour and half. Food came at completely unedible.. temperatures were completely cold and also undercooked not safe for consumption at. Call in..phone was answered by extremely rude order taker...I was not given the opportunity to explain my issue with the food .. she was combative and argumentative and and refuse to listen to anything I had to say... once arrival to the restaurant for a refund....Her behavior worsened .my sentences were completely interrupted..I was able talk directly to the manager he was kind understanding and it was quite embarrassed by the condition of the food ..sit yet the receptionist / order taker continued to be argumentative and rude I had to explain to the owner.. proper temperatures upon delivering proper temperatures of food I am a seasoned chef been in the industry for some time and a business owner, and I would not tolerate any of my employees making my business worse with their attitude...on top of the fact I seen several Health violations within several minutes of being there I would not recommend you eat this food... steer clear!! They are rated a C on the Health Department restaurant rating violation code which means they have been dinged several times for food...
