Second attempt at brunch at the Puyallup location of Bob's Burgers, first attempt shortly after they started the brunch on Sundays. I Called earlier in the week to find out peak hours for the Sunday brunch which starts at 9 and runs until 2. We were told that it gets extremely busy around the 10:00 hour. We arrived at 9:45 stood at the front desk for approximately three to five minutes waiting for assistance and seating we were acknowledged early on but the front Hostess was also serving omelettes. Eventually we went to the bar for a table as did the couple behind us. The Bartender was also the waitress in the bar and she explained how the brunch worked and how to order an omelet, we went to get our food. When we got to the food line I would venture to guess a third of the food was empty and waiting for replacement. When we went a second time, the eggs benedict was still missing as was the majority of the fruit and the gravy for the biscuits - which we ended up discovering were lacking in flavor and dry . As the cost is $14 for adults we expected not only appropriate Professional Service but the food to be plentiful and replaced as needed. As this was our second attempt I doubt we will be back for the brunch. This is unfortunate as the Puyallup Bob's Burgers is our neighborhood business and we like to support those around us. Very rarely do I ever give such a low star review but quite honestly there was very little to speak positively about. The ham, lemon bars and waffles we're definitely the highlight of the breakfast along with the company. I hope if Bob's Burgers reads their reviews they take this to heart and make the changes needed to provide a cost Worthy breakfast for those that choose to dine there.

UPDATE- Jan 2024 BEWARE do not give a review for Bob's. We went to dinner with family/friends and during dinner was accosted/attacked by the manager Tim in front of other patrons regarding my Sept Review. Said we were needy and said we were a-holes. I'm sorry my steak came out well done, not med-rare, i guess asking for it corrected is needy, or spouse is allegic to onions and onions, come on it, that's needy to ask to be fixed. We never ask for comps. Mistakes happen. He says my review could ruin the business and his chances in buying it... well, there you have it folks, my one review ruined a business. Hmmmm, maybe they need to reflect on the management. Nothing said/written wasn't true. Toilets broke over a year (smells too) Garbage not emptied or checked throughout the day and ended all over the ground Gnats for months, and the fix was an electric fly swatter😒 Service is absolutely amazing and was the reason we all came back. Now they lost us and SEVERAL other friends/family who own their own businesses... Thank you for the unprofessional way your management handled a review! And from others, it seems him accosting other patrons is a pattern. Read one from a few months ago. A pic of our last visit after being accosted.... we spent a buttload of money there weekly! Not anymore Sept 2023- Food had gone downhill, charging more, and have cut portions by a 1/3. It's dirty in the bathrooms, garbage all over outside, and gnats EVERYWHERE due to a busted beer line. If it wasn't for the best bartenders, we would not be back!

We're trying it out again. It's busy at lunch but then again so is traffic on meridian. So far so good. There was only one server on. So, there was a bit of a wait in the beginning and at the end. The ciabatta bread on my cajun turkey burger was way too dry. It fell apart in my lap. I couldn't hold onto it so I ate it with a fork and knife. My husband and son's sides were switched so we had to fix that. My husband's ciabatta bread was also dry on his Malibu burger and our son only had sriracha on one side of his sriracha burger. There were a lot of inconsistencies in quality of food and service. I understood the wait to begin with since Sarah was the only server on but there was also a wait at the end for the check. I had to get up and make eye contact first. Not happy. I did say something about the dry bread but, she said sorry and told me how other people don't like the ciabatta bread either. **previous review from March 2018 My husband and I were there last night and, we were not impressed. I don't know if the staffing or management changed but, things were off. Our waitress forgot about us a couple times and we were in a rush to get home. I had to find someone so I could pay my bill and everyone was talking in the back. I had to motion to someone to come out. We are regulars. We've both worked the restaurant scene. We tip well. This is our go to restaurant and we were not happy.

There's a large group that dine regularly at bobs. They've been going there a long time. I joined last year so I've gone maybe 4-6 times with them. It's a hobby group basically and I'm the youngest 1 there as my stepdad is a member of this association. Most everyone is probably 60+. There's 1 guy thats almost deaf he's quite up there in age. Nobody meant any disrespect but the manager came to tell us basically how poorly we treat his servers. He started right in on us quite defensively. Honestly I'm a bit mystified because we aren't loud and rambunctious or making any kind of mess, there's zero kids at these functions. The manager's main complaints are that people change seats and we're too needy asking for things. But he came at us in attack mode. I don't know his name if he's the owner but I believe he's at least a manager. He basically insinuated that all of the servers that have tended to our group hate us and feel mistreated and we're the only group they have an issue with. I haven't seen anyone be rude. In fact it was the same manager that was rude to me the last time we were there. They messed up my order and comped it for me but not before the manager argued about it with me and had an attitude. I've been in food service and I see ways both sides can improve. But they could ask the group nicely not to change seats as it confuses them, that's understandable but when they're bringing out all the food and there's no silverware or napkins yet, then yeah that's a problem and people are going to request it. You knew we were coming and you had nothing ready. When you have 16 ppl in a large group you're going to have several people that need things, thats just a given in a large group but its not our fault only 1 server is assigned to that many people. But part of this in my opinion requires being a good server and knowing how to work with a large group. Get a list of everything that people need a refill on and then come back but if you're constantly running back and forth to the kitchen that's kind of on you to a degree. Bobs can kick rocks. I'm so upset at how he talked to us that I won't be returning.

I should also add that the president of this association that runs these dinners made a comment to my step dad that "well, there are other restaurants". So if I personally choose not to attend I am just one person, but if the president decides to hold these gatherings elsewhere, then that's a large group of people that were dining with you monthly that you no longer have. Oh and the manager said something like "I wouldn't normally say anything but its my son so I take it extra personal" I never got the servers name but it sounds like the manager is his father with a temper problem. If he thinks a bunch of older people are tough to deal with imagine if we were loud, boisterous, cussing or making some huge mess. I know I've definitely seen how others behave in restaurants and it's quite terrible. I just don't see that in our group so it feels super unwarranted. It actually has ruined my...

I am here to edit my review. I visted here for my relatives birthday and deeply regretted it after how customer service was provided to my family here. We were seated by a older waitress ( was wearing a black hoodie and looked somewhere maybe in their 30's or 40's ). The waitress took us to a table near the windows but we wanted to sit somewhere in the back, so then she said ok and handed us the butterknife with fork wrapped in a napkin to us. Did not even ask us where we would like to change our table to + plus did not even take us to that table ,which is ok. Then when we were seated we met the Waiter Tim, he was much nicer but he walked around our table 2 - 3 times after he handed us our bill receipt. We felt rushed to pay the bill, which we strongly did not appreciate and felt uncomfortable by it.

We ordered the Cajun Chicken Burger, the Jalapeno Burger (subbed with the black bean patty ) and the Mushroom Burger ( subbed also with the black bean patty ), 2 coffees and 1 coke. The main dishes were good, they came with good portion of fries which was good as well. Then the waitress who served us our main dishes ( she looked a bit younger maybe in her 20's or 30's ) kind of gave a comical and odd reply when I asked her this question "do you guys not serve water anymore or is that changed bc last time they served it to me the minute I sat down" and she replied with " oh no we still serve water but only if people ask for it, it is just we dont want to waste our dishes + water when we put it in front of people and they don't drink it ". I was speechless bc putting water in front of a customer [ doesnt matter if they dont drink it or not, even if they dont ask for it ] is expected in most restaurants, like that is basic common sense. The table we sat on was also sticky and not cleaned properly. I was expecting for a more professional answer but I guess it is ok....

I am just not sure if the customer service that was given to me and my family at today's visit was even worth the price listed on the bill. I am also not sure if I want to come back again, My first visit here was better than my...
