South County Art Association — Attraction in South Kingstown

I am a returning customer to SCAA and previously to my last experience I greatly enjoyed the pottery classes. However, I recently signed up for a Pottery Boot Camp course and woke up the morning of with symptoms of Hand, Foot, and Mouth (which my toddler had come down with a few days prior from daycare). I immediately messaged and asked if I could get a credit for a future class because I had the symptoms and did not want to get everyone sick. I was told it was against their policy. Listen, I get policies so that people don’t abuse a system but this is an extenuating circumstance. They also told me don’t worry it might be offered again! Seriously? (So I’d have to repay another $150) I was very upset with the response I received and don’t understand how a credit towards a future class (in this instance) can’t be granted. I will not be...

Such a lovely place to view or purchase works of art created by artists from our region. Particularly right now, I enjoy the quiet, airy environment. There's also jewelry and functional pottery available...

Wonderfully curated space, lots of room and seats so one can really enjoy the art. It's a pleasure to see so much talent and realize that it's local. Lots to buy for Christmas presents in every budget...
