SUPERCUTS — Attraction in South Orange

mixed feelings about coming here but it's quick and close. usually walk in waiting with 3 other people. feels like a medical clinic. whoever said 10 mins came at a good time. today tho my cut was rather confusing and detached. she started buzzing and shaping my sides and then put talcum powder on me and i actually thought i was done before she started to spray water on my hair. i dont remember this from my other visits. didn't ask how i wanted my hair so i showed a pic and there was some confusion. sides came out a bit uneven and i look like an average joe. i wanted more off the top but didnt notice at the time. she cut my bangs without asking me. the experience wasnt bad but it wasnt pleasant. she didnt ask me how i wanted my hair and just cut it short when i said that. frankly ive been working a lot so it's fine. but seriously tho there is a woman there who looks like my mom and she cut my hair better. only critic is when she asked if i wanted my back straight or round. i said round and later at home realized it was a bit too rounded. today i felt like i was a hair model. im paying you and tipping and youre pausing in between some cuts to converse with a coworker. ...

First time there today w my son, and won’t go back! My appointment was for 12pm. Waited about 10 to 15 minutes (which I’m not complaining about) As I was sitting waiting I’m observing how the service works. (How they cater to people) as I waited, I saw how they clean the customers once they are done, how they place a warm towel, and all that. Well I was expecting the same for my son, it didn’t happen. The lady was very nice, kept asking for my opinion on what I wanted, which I explained, it took this person 15 minutes to give my son a cut, which I sure wasn’t happy about. I expected a lot better! I asked for two lines…The lines were not straight. They didn’t. Clean up w a blower after he was done, didn’t even style the hair. I’m so disappointed in the outcome from what I showed her in the picture to what I actually got! I’m not the type to complain or get on peoples nerve, I just wanted my son to be happy and he wasn’t. I have been looking for most of my life for a hair stylist who understands what I'm looking for and performs flawlessly. In my 63 years, I feel so blessed to have found Jenette, who is perfect in every way. Cannot imagine going to anyone else.
