Steel Force is one of two hyper coasters I have ridden, and the only one by Morgan Manufacturing. This is in my top 3 best roller coasters out of the ones I have ridden. This ride isn't that intense, it is just a really fun ride. As is the same with most hyper coasters, this coaster is all about the airtime, and certainly has a lot of it. An advantage you have with this ride is that they don't lower your lap bar all the way down. I remember there being a considerable amount of distance between my lap and the restraint. They also don't tighten your seatbelt that much either. So during the ride, you really do go floating out of your seat. It is all floater airtime. Even all of those bunny hills towards the end give you floater airtime. This ride isn't necessarily the smoothest but it is not rough. My favorite part of the ride is definitely the small hills towards the end. This ride is so fun and I would ride this again in a heartbeat. Read moreSteel Force, a hyper coaster at Dorney Park, promises an exhilarating experience but falls short of expectations for many riders.
Despite its towering presence, Steel Force feels dated, lacking the immersive theming that enhances modern coaster experiences. The ride's smoothness leaves much to be desired, with rough patches that detract from the overall enjoyment.
While Steel Force is a must-try for coaster enthusiasts visiting the park, it struggles to leave a lasting impression. Its forgettable nature is evident in its lack of thrills and memorable moments.
In conclusion, Steel Force may have been a standout attraction in its prime, but its age and lack of modern updates have relegated it to the realm of mediocrity. Ride it for the experience, but don't expect it to linger in your...
Read moreGoing into this ride, I thought it would be the best at the park. A lot of people go on and say how great this ride is. When I visited Dorney Park, I had this ride toward the top of my list. It was one of the last things I rode that day. After the ride, I was so disappointed. The was a pretty forceless and it wasn't really that fun either. The max the lap bar can go was light years away from my body. The seatbelt was basically the only thing keeping me in. In result of that, the airtime was pretty good. I thought it would be stronger but it is what it is. Overall, it was dissapointing but I was happy to get on. A must ride...
