I have ridden Thunderhawk with the old trains and the new trains that arrived this year. So I think I have a good idea about the two experiences. I thought with the old trains it wasn't good, but not terrible. So when I heard ghat they were getting the new trains, I was excited. They may turn this ok ride into a great ride. So I recently hopped on this ride again, hoping for better. However what I got, was not expected. The ride was worse. With the new trains, it is really cramped and you don't have much space to move around. Therefore when the train would go over some really rough parts, it would slam our bodies against the restraints, or the sides of the trains. At least with the old trains you had room to move around, but now its cramped and you barely have any space. It doesn't help that the ride is very rough. However I should cut it some slack, seeing how it is one of the oldest coasters still standing. Over all I didn't like Thunderhawk. It's old, busted, and it really beat me up by the end of it.
