I chose this hotel because of the location. I was visiting family originally from PA, but moved away to Georgia so I’m pretty familiar with the area. I was disappointed in the appearance of the hotel. The downstairs lobby was welcoming when you come in appeared very clean decent smell I mention smell because some hotels you walk in and they have a very musty odor old smelling odor, but this hotel did not until I got in the elevator to go to my room as I walked down the hallway I noticed how disgustingly dirtythe hallway carpets were. They look like they’ve never been shampooed and they smelled my room was not the greatest. But it also was not the worst it made my stay better than horrible was the customer service that I experienced from the gentleman from the night I called before to make sure my room was confirmed because I never received the email and I have made the reservation online through third-party triple AAA even from that night his Customer Service on the phone was great when I ride the young lady that was trying to help me could not find my reservation and he stepped in and actually found it and just from that point, he was just great The next day when I checked out, however the person that checked me out could’ve did better didn’t offer me a receipt they just kinda was just like OK. You know trying to get me out when I handed them the card. It wasn’t thank you for staying. Do you have any concerns? They just were like can I help you with anything else and that was it but they also did not provide me with a receipt. I thought my receipt was gonna be emailed so I called back And she stated they didn’t have my my email on my reservation which I did not know this I provided all the information and I’m glad I did call because this is why when you’re checking out they should go over your information to make sure everything is good and provide you with a receipt or ask you if you want the receipt to be emailed so that being said that in particular interaction, I wasn’t a fan of but the young man who works there he told me he was from New York originally I can’t remember his name so I apologize but he was great and I appreciate his customer service. I don’t know if he’s the manager. If not, he definitely needs to be but I know they don’t control the condition of the hotel so whoever owns the hotel needs to do better with the appearance of their hotel because the Sheraton has always in my knowledge growing up. It has been a reputable name, but things have changed in. This is not a good hotel. I wouldn’t...
Read moreWe stayed here during the Memorial Day weekend. The rooms are basic, nothing great. The bathroom sink was actually outside the bathroom!! Service is extremely poor. We went to the pool and there were guests who had brought their personal speaker and were blasting music. Very disruptive and it was making most guests uncomfortable. We went to the reception to ask them to talk to the guests. The ladies there simply said “oh we were not aware they had brought personal speaker. It really is out of our hands, why don’t you request them to lower the volume”! Even when told that this did not work, they did not step in to correct the situation. There was no manager to overlook anyone or anything. They basically just allowed one family to make all the other guests uncomfortable because it was out of their hands to implement hotel rules!!
There was no hotel staff to look into the pool area. Next morning, the pool toys from the previous day were still floating around, which means nobody even bothered to clean the pool area at the end of the day.
Next day, we went out and knew that by the time we get back, our room would be cleaned. We came back to no housekeeping service. We were told that our room “does not feature on the list to be cleaned”!! On calling the front office, I was told that housekeeping service is not provided every day. Only every other day!! So, the small trash and recycle bins were overflowing by the time we checked out on the third day. Nobody replenished the coffee / creamers/ sugars. No fresh towels. No cups. I had to find a housekeeping staff and request for at least 2 fresh towels and a couple of cups for coffee in the morning! A hotel that is under the Marriott umbrella is not expected to have this kind of shoddy service. Extremely disappointing. Shockingly bad service for the amount of money they charge. Definitely will NOT recommend this hotel property to anyone!
In response to the comment below, it is really upsetting that they would say untrue things. We never requested for no housekeeping service. And the lady in the reception clearly told me housekeeping services are not provided every day at the hotel. Why would she give me this information when I called to ask for the housekeeping services to clean our room? About the pool, the next day, we went at 12:15pm and there was nobody at the pool but my family. The toys floating around in the water were all from the previous day, when others were...

Details : Room 329 from 06/14 /25 to 06/21/25
This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had — and unfortunately, it was at a Sheraton where higher standards are expected.
When I first entered the room, the floor was clearly not vacuumed or mopped — there was visible debris on the carpet. To make matters worse, I discovered the shower gel was completely empty after wetting my body at 5:30 a.m. before work. That kind of oversight is inexcusable.
Despite repeated requests, housekeeping didn’t show up for multiple days. After returning from work exhausted, we were shocked to find the same dirty sheets and an uncleaned room. We complained to the front desk, and the manager sent the housekeeping supervisor around 4:45 p.m. to finally address the issue.
Before stepping out, I clearly told the supervisor, “Please do a full service, everything needs to be done.” Instead of acknowledging the request, she replied in a rude tone: “Come again, what did you say to me?”
What followed was even more appalling — the so-called “5 p.m. special request” cleaning was horrible. When we returned, the room looked barely touched. Even the receptionist was visibly shocked by the condition and took photos herself, admitting this level of service was unacceptable.
It’s clear the Housekeeping Manager isn’t inspecting the rooms at all, neither before check-in nor after a service request. This is a serious lapse in quality and accountability.
For corporate guests staying near one of the largest automotive plants in the U.S., this is completely unacceptable. I can’t imagine the experience for a leisure traveler.
Ironically, this was my first stay at a Sheraton, and I was asked to enroll in their “best hospitality” program.
Say NO to SHERATON — when basic respect, cleanliness, and follow-through are missing, loyalty programs...
