Linx is awesome! From the moment we first arrived for our stay, at the attached hotel, the staff was awesome. We were afraid that we wouldn't have time to order food because it was almost 10pm but the boss/manager took our order and put it in while we checked into our room. When we got down to Linx everything was hot and waiting for us. The food was delicious, and not just because we were hungry. During our meal we had the pleasure of meeting their amazing bar tender, Angie. Angie was pleasant, funny, and personable. You could instantly tell she loved her job and already had a great rapport with her regulars but she went above and beyond for everyone. Angie wasn't like most bar tenders who just check back once in a while she took the time to make sure our food was kept warm, remembered our drink orders and those of everyone at the bar, kept my water glass filled as requested and kept the conversation and atmosphere pleasant and entertaining. We liked her so much that instead of checking out the next morning we decided to stay another night and take her advice on some local activities to do. At the end of the day we ended up back at Linx once again and it did not disappoint. This time we enjoyed the drinks, company, and dessert. The apple and berry pierogies were out of this world and definitely worth the try. I am telling you if you ever get the chance to visit Linx you will not be...
Read moreJim Kistler hired a waitress (during a pre-wedding taste test) who brought me a cup of soup with the spoon inside that had a filthy gunky buildup. Even the cup itself was not clean. I wouldn't be surprised if my food was tampered with!!! I was trying to confront Jim with regards to his horrible attitude (regarding certain things i observed prior to the wedding day) and nasty comments he made (prior to the wedding), he wouldn't listen to anything i had to say regarding his behavior and said that he would need to hang up the phone. He's one with a passive aggressive personality, appearing genuine on the outside, but a ravening snake on the inside. Food is mediocre ( the chicken looked dry, a bit burnt, and overcooked on my wedding day, so i chose not to eat it) nothing special!!!! Wedding staff waitresses were good. Jim has a sloppy appearance for a restaurant manager. (Jim had recommended a DJ for my wedding where during my phone text messages, i had explicitly stated to play father-daughter dance, but he didn't! When i went to the DJ requesting him to play a song; he said, "it's ok to act like a bridezilla" The DJ Troy had ultimately played the songs that i requested, his character and personality stinks a bit) I had a very limited budget to work with, and yes this place is accomodating as far as that goes, unfortunately the experience was not...
Read moreCame with my favorite person, my daughter, for some karaoke fun. Linx did not disappoint. It was obvious there was a regular crowd of fun characters. Adding the hotel guests means there's an ever-changing dynamic. It's a drive for us, but we will be back. The energy was so welcoming and positive.
The food was delicious and the portion-size spot-on. We got the special, a tenderloin bowl, which was very reasonably-priced. I forgot to take pictures. The drinks are a little pricey, but that's to be expected in a hotel bar. They were delicious. They have a Starbucks thing that my girl, a coffee addict, really loved. The desserts were a little rich. Stick with the dinner food. It's more than enough.
The staff are amazing. Friendly, smiles everywhere. The KJ was so welcoming; and, if you know karaoke like we know karaoke, kept a balanced queue, getting new singers into the rotation and still respecting the ones who came to sing. Plus, he and many of the guests were phenomenal performers; so, if you don't like to sing, you'll have plenty to...
