However, the Sunday of the memorial we encountered a “Karen” who single handedly made everyone feel uncomfortable. She watched our family like we were on America’s Most Wanted. Everything we did she was right there telling us we can’t do that. Not only was this woman rude but she was not empathetic of the reason for the gathering. I completely read the contract & understood the rules. My Dj needed to unload his equipment so he backed his vehicle up to the shed to do so. No tire tracks were left, no grass out of place. “Karen” comes & says he needs to move that. My friend brought a donation jar for the deceased’s kids, “Karen” comes & says you can’t have that.
Now mind you, we were not the only people at the park. There was a whole soccer game going, families pulling up walking their dogs & letting their kids play. I took a bunch of guys there and we had good oldfashioned fun as we played a gentleman's game of kickball. Taught them how to be competitive and nice. I love the fact that there are bathrooms.
