Country Oven of Berkley — Restaurant in Berkley

First off I would like to start with saying the food is not that good. I went with my family and we ordered breakfast. The waitress was very rude and although we waited quite a while she came back with food that was cold, toast that was burnt, eggs that weren't cooked. Normally I would still eat the food but since there were more than one thing wrong I asked her to change this. She was very rude about it and acted like this wasn't her job. Then we received the bill and she forgot to split it up because my sister and I were paying separately. When we asked her to do this she can acted like it was bothersome to her. Then she gave us the bill . We were told that it was just taxes that made the bill higher so they once again changed it and it still wasn' t right.the menu items were not listed separately so we had to look at the menu again write down each item and add it up ourselves. when we came up and told the manager it still wasn't right, he also acted like this was not his job and we were bothering him by even asking. They weren't off by much but the fact that they acted that way after we were very polite made us decide we didn't want to go there again. Other members of my family eat here all the time and have a good experience so I'm not sure if it was just the people that assisted us or not but it was a very bad experience and I wouldn't recommend...

Not very good service, slow and did not check on the table, got a drink and it tasted like plastic. That wasn’t a huge deal, but when the checks came they were written in unreadable handwriting, unmarked charges, and the total was way more than it should have been for what we ordered. My friends and I had two separate checks and both had this issue. We then went through the menu and added up our totals to make sure that we weren’t forgetting something, or that we didn’t get the prices wrong. We then took our bills up to the counter and received very rude behavior. Then when my friend asked what the charges were for, she was told one answer, then when she disputed that, was told a different answer. I then went and tried to get an explanation, if maybe I had missed something, and was told at first that the multiple dollars of overcharge were tax, though I had added that to the bill when I calculated at the table, and for our total, that tax would not even have been possible, she then shoved a calculator at me, and when I tried to show her the menu prices and punch them in, she yanked the calculator back, and punched in numbers not listed on the menu. To be honest, was super disappointed because I was excited to get breakfast and have a fun morning, but this put.a damper on things. Would not...

I ordered 2 coney’s with onion rings a burger with fries the onion rings were burnt the food was cold even the coney’s. I called talked with Jimmy since they closed at 9:00 pm Jimmy said bring them in the morning.i went the following day spoke with the staff they said Jimmy wasn’t there by the time I got into my car the waitress ran outside and said he was there I went inside spoke with him explained the order wasn’t satisfied he did not compensate me for the food poor service didn’t try to accommodate me for my loss I told him I will not be back $31.00 loss .
