Connecticut Mattress Southington — Attraction in Southington

My mom ordered a bed from this place on January 22, 2020. The salesman told us we would have it delivered by Thursday of the next week. Today is Wednesday, February 5, 2020 and we still have not received the bed but we sure got the bill already to pay for it! This is insane. We’re apparently supposed to get it delivered tomorrow so I called the warehouse today to ask them what time the mattress will be here and the guy tells me, “I don’t know yet I’ll call you later with a timeframe.” The mattress is supposed to be here TOMORROW and they STILL don’t have a time to give me? My mother works and what if I wasn’t able to be here to sit around all day so they can finally tell me a delivery time and what if no one was able to be here to accept the delivery? This is unacceptable. When I called last week they told me they couldn’t deliver it earlier because they “wouldn’t be in the Southington area before February 6th.” I don’t care if you’re not in the area that’s not how deliveries work. You deliver when you get the order. They’re acting like they’re in another STATE or something. I would understand if they couldn’t get here because the warehouse was located in like, New Jersey or something but they’re in SOUTH WINDSOR. There’s no reason to make someone who spent $1100 wait this long for their bed and give no information about delivery times when it’s the day before I’m supposed to get it! You need to figure out a better system man cuz this is just...

After two very poor previous experiences with a national chain, we decided to give CT Mattress a try. The experience could not have been more night and day.

From the refreshing approach of a non commissioned sales person to the on time delivery, everything went as promised. Our sales person was more interested in making sure we got what best fit our needs and setting realistic delivery window than getting the sale. Simply put, he under promised and over delivered which is about the best thing I can say when purchasing anything.

The delivery experience was outstanding too. They delivered within the window they promised and were professional and pleasant to work with. Couldn't ask form more.

Both ladies were wonderful and greeted me when i came in the store. (Sarah and Mary) When i came back to purchase Mary was very thorough, and knowledgeable. She asked questions to fit my needs & i had total confidence in her suggestions. CT mattress after my first visit left me with a trusting feeling of the salesperson not being a 'hard sell', as they mentioned they do not work off commission. I came back here mostly because of that. I wanted an honest opinion of a mattress that would last, yet not get pressed to buy the most expensive. Great experience!,...
