GNT is my favorite local thrift shop. I love their mission and everyone there is always so kind and welcoming. The book section at GNT should not be missed! I’ve visited the book sections of about a dozen other local thrift stores but no one else has the volume or variety of books. There are literally thousands of children’s books on any given day! My kids and I delight in searching through to find something for everyone. Last week we came home with books that checked all my kids’ boxes: science, art, superheroes, fairies, and graphic novels. And all children’s books are under $1! I have two hot tips: Teachers: this is a great place to build your classroom libraries! The books are in good used condition, the variety is impressive, and they even offer discounts to teachers. We go back every couple of weeks for another treasure hunt through the book section. Little Free Library Stewards: ask about their children's book boxes! Thank you for being a great resource, GNT! And thanks for supporting Spokane's...
Read moreFirst time going to this thrift store I was so excited. I grabbed what I liked without checking the price tags. When I looked at the price tag on my necklace out in the car I seen it had two tags one 7.00 the other 4.00 I'd gotten the jewelry from a lady behind a counter. I walked them back in thinking I was going to get 6.00 back mind you one of the necklaces didn't show a price and he said it's the same price as the other one ... When I brought the stuff back instead of being like alright customers right she just spent 50.00 here ... Chances are she's going to be a regular.. what's 6.00??? Nope he made a bid deal I said yano I'd like to just return lol he said no all sales final I feel like that place is a scam and I won't shop at a place that doesnt value there customers there's to many goodwills and used stores to shop. I won't ever go back sad because me and my family love a goodwill store a few...
Read moreI've been in twice so far both times the items that I got were extremely overpriced I had even seen Dollar store canvases being sold for 299 which is just crazy to me but what upset me the most about this store is the fact that I had picked out multiple items throughout the store all in which had price tags on them or for clothing which is marked on each one of the racks and when I brought them up to the test register the guy corrected every single one of my items and tried to charge me way more even though the prices were either marked on them or they were marked on the section that I got I love to go thrift shopping and I love work places like this but I don't feel like it is right for them to change prices when you're already up at the counter and I've been up shopping for over an hour and for them to have such high prices on items that were...
